I used sitelutions.com and it has worked well. I have had much better experiences with Go Daddy and 1&1. Read this:
XXXX (Yahoo customer service),
Thank you for the response - although quite delayed. Fortunately, I was able to resolve the situation on my own and I am happy to keep the domain names under the special price that you offered.
I have to admit that although I am an entrepreneur, I am not the most computer literate person. For that reason, I hope that when I do business with a major tech brand, such as yahoo, that the company is straightforward about costs and rights. I was able to move the names to another nameserver in order to remove the banner ad. When I asked your customer service on how to remove the banner, I was told that the only solution was to purchase additional products. I did not appreciate the placement of a banner ad when I had not expected to encounter this based upon my previous experiences with 1&1 or Go Daddy. I did not appreciate the attempts to beguile me into purchasing additional products.
Now, while I am sure that there are plenty of more technologically savvy individual who would know how to move domain names to other name servers, I am sure that there are even more less technologically savvy individuals who would purchase domain names through Yahoo because they expect a large industry leader to be straightforward with them. I am sure that many of those people would purchase the additional products because they believe that is the only way to remove the ads.
I am a semi-professional photographer who had long considered purchasing a full Flickr membership. Because of this experience, I am sure that is a bad idea. I will also be sure to keep away from additional Yahoo products in the future and to dissuade my friends from using Yahoo products.
Very truly yours,
