Yahoo Helping to Jail another (third!) Chinese writer

usatoday.com — "Yahoo turned over a DRAFT e-mail from one of its users to Chinese authorities, who used the information to jail the man on subversion charges, according to the verdict from his trial". But... how did Chinese gov know about a letter that wasn't even send yet in the first place?

They are writing articles that would get them in trouble and instead of sending them (and easily get intercepted), they save it as a draft and give others the account's password.

    Well if Yahoo is turning over draft files from people's email, I don't think it's too far off to assume that there are a number of flagged accounts that Yahoo is watching very closely.
