- inactive, on 03/16/2008, -0/+6The publishers are just sounding like the RIAA and afraid to adopt a more open way of doing business. They want control back so that they can make more money because their newspapers are not producing profit anymore. You cannot stop content aggregation as Google is only the tip of the iceberg. The end result if ACAP sets in motion is that publishers will charge Google for crawling their content and not be listed anymore on aggregated news sites thus giving the smaller guy more ability to become the main news topic and citizen journalism will prosper even more. Let them force their crappy ways on the industry, it will be the death of them.
