- Croak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The upgrade is pretty painless, but be SURE to deactivate all of your plugins before you do the upgrade..some of the old plugins don't play well with 2.0. Upgrade, then start turning on plugins one at a time (and check for plugin updates, most of the popular ones are 2.0 compliant).
And it goes without saying that you should backup your SQL database before you do the upgrade.
Also, they are really XHTML nazis in this code release...stuff like target="blank" for links won't work with the WSIWYG editor, Blogroll links won't open in a new window, stuff like that.
Waay off topic, but the XHTML board makes the stupid arsed assumption that everybody is tabbed browsing (not THIS kid, nor 87% of his blog readers), or they figure if they deliberately make crap as annnoying as possible for IE users everyone will switch to FF..that's not guerilla marketting, that's terrorism marketing. ;) - ekrocker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i've been using moveabletype and i hate it

I finally chose b2evolution for my blog because its easy to work with, infinitely customizable and it supports multiple blogs. b2evo isn't as common as some of the others, but I've had great success in getting support through their community. +Digg.

Digg runs on about 50 servers now and i betcha that guy is behind 1. You think your connection would be hard to block up?
