- renesisx, on 11/23/2007, -13/+324I doubt he cares about the couch. He can shop for a new younger, prettier wife instead now...
- SpectralSounds, on 11/23/2007, -5/+262"So Campbell did an Internet search on "Ramdass" and ended up finding a lot of gay pr0n."
- vault, on 11/23/2007, -4/+198"Campbell, Ramdass' wife since 2005 and girlfriend for five years before that, said she suspected he was hiding something when he disconnected their phone and kept their television off. A postcard offering congratulations on a new house purchase was her final clue."
Wow...she's a quick one. - controlphreak, on 11/23/2007, -10/+182I bet he's sleeping on the couch now... though its probably a pretty fancy one now...
- Wolfie351, on 11/23/2007, -11/+161For every one man who hides his lottery winnings from his wife, there are a 100,000 women who build up debt and hide it from their husband
- wolphcry, on 11/23/2007, -2/+137Googled my wife....... darn...
- speedwank, on 11/23/2007, -21/+154Sounds like it was a lovely trusting relationship! She sounds like a perennial snoop, prolly sniffing his underwear to make sure there were no [ahem] "unknown emissions" checking his pockets etc. He's clearly a deceitful lying *****, whether as an automatic response to her ways, or by nature it's of no consequence.
In conclusion then, I hope she is able to determine his whereabouts and litigate successfully. With any luck they'll both spend what each would have gotten (had he fessed up in the beginning) from the winnings, and have nothing whatsoever left when the lawyers are all done. Each will have been paid back in the appropriate manner relative to their grievance. He'll pay the penalty for lies and deceit, she'll pay the penalty for greed and avarice. Justice will then have been done, plus each of these gems will be back on the market so that they can find a more suitable partner - and the cycle continues. Great! - danwallace, on 11/23/2007, -13/+137"Right now, all I want is justice," Campbell said. "With time, I will file for divorce."
What a bitch. - MarkOfTheDead, on 11/23/2007, -1/+114Next time leave safesearch on.
- MasterPlayer, on 11/23/2007, -11/+102Maybe he did it since he knew that if she did find out, she would do something crazy, for example suing him like the money-grubbing whore she is.
- invectivelover, on 11/23/2007, -46/+130Wife or not, SHE didn't win jacksh!t. She has no right to the money. There's a reason she wasn't told about it.
- dargon, on 11/23/2007, -8/+86Actually as his wife, I believe in a divorce she would be entitled to 50% give or take
- inactive, on 11/23/2007, -10/+85If I had a wife I didn't trust or things were going shakey I can't say I wouldn't of done the same.
- renesisx, on 11/23/2007, -1/+68Haha I love this. I remember last time I had a dispute with a company and brought my lawyer in.
He said "If it goes to litigation, the only people that will win are me and their lawyer. We'll both get to take another vacation this year."
Now that's honesty! - arcooke, on 11/23/2007, -1/+62$600,000 (BEFORE taxes), won't exactly buy you any woman you want. It'll probably be spent in a year's time, especially considering the guy likes to gamble.
- synce, on 11/23/2007, -21/+80What a greedy whore.
- muniak, on 11/23/2007, -2/+60He didn't win THAT much...
- NyteStarNyne, on 11/23/2007, -3/+47@olegk - What kind of couches do you buy that $600k won't cover it?!?!?
- EmperorAwesome, on 11/23/2007, -23/+65BUT she's a raging *****. Let's not forget that. So, according to her *****-logic, she's entitled to all the money the group made, and their wages for the rest of their lives.
- TyR88, on 11/24/2007, -0/+39Actually, he is. He's exactly that rich.
- inactive, on 11/24/2007, -0/+36His last name is Ramdass? Sounds like his wife's gonna do just that.
- sanman, on 11/23/2007, -5/+38You can google her, while the rest of us go ogle her
- FoxRacR17, on 11/23/2007, -1/+30hey only got 600,000 since he was in a pool with his co-workers. So it probably was not that fancy a couch.
- CedEx, on 11/23/2007, -1/+28On the flip side, isn't your wife responsible for half your debts? Or does the system only work one way?
- sb66, on 11/23/2007, -0/+26You would think the marriage was already in trouble. If I was happily married; I wouldn't even think of keeping it a secret.
Also 600k is hardly a massive windfall. Nice; but its not like you can quit work for good if you have a decent standard of living. - drizzlelicious, on 11/23/2007, -1/+26This is screwed up on so many levels
- fani, on 11/23/2007, -10/+34Ramdass ? Doesn't that sound like rammed ass....
- 31073, on 11/23/2007, -0/+23Thats funny. I always thought if I came into a large sum of money I would tell as few people as possible.
- stoanhart, on 11/23/2007, -0/+22If I had a wife I didn't trust, I would leave her. What the hell's the point?
- encognito, on 11/23/2007, -9/+30Of course she deserved half, she is a married woman. Even if she cursed his name every time he bought a lotto ticket or gambled some money away that he EARNED from his JOB, she is entitled to HIS money. If she was a girlfriend she would be SOL. But because she signed some magical piece of paper she is entitled to half of everything he makes. Ain't love grand?
- Mark03, on 11/23/2007, -2/+23Yeah, in divorce. Which, is why he has disappeared.
- rome747, on 11/24/2007, -0/+18Do you have $600K?
- adrenaline33, on 11/24/2007, -3/+21No the men make money
/just saying - MarkOfTheDead, on 11/23/2007, -6/+23What a whore. That's like saying you deserve a Chrismas present.
- SnuKs, on 11/23/2007, -0/+16Or divorce him on the spot and get half before he gets to spend even a dime.
- rpgguy1o1, on 11/23/2007, -10/+26okay, who else would have just had her "taken care of"?
- starf, on 11/23/2007, -0/+16He only won $600,000. Was split with coworkers.
- PopularNerd123, on 11/23/2007, -5/+21shut up you money grubbing whore LEAVE RAMDASS ALOOOONEEEEE!!!!
- graemee, on 11/23/2007, -4/+20Maybe he was going to surprise her. Right?
LOL at the guys name. Rammed ASS. - MeThePeople, on 11/23/2007, -2/+17he was part of a pool at work not someone who went to vegas and lost the rent. figure he paid 2 dollars a day to be part of the lottery pool. thats $10 a week. oh no he lost less then a hours work of pay a week that he worked for. his children must be starving.
- finista, on 11/23/2007, -5/+19Well, I am off to google my wife.
- Nidy1, on 11/23/2007, -5/+19So did I...hot damn.
- filmteknik, on 11/23/2007, -4/+18Isn't the gubment going to get about half anyway? So that leaves about $300K after taxes. So say they track him down and he hasn't come up with some legal dodge for the money. She sues him and wins. She gets about $150K. Lawyer working on contingency fee probably takes half. Now she's got $75K. So for greed over a lousy $75,000 she's bailing on a marriage and 7 year relationship. I know someone is gonna say well isn't he doing the same thing? No...if he's bailing on her it's for $300,000! Hahahahahaha!
- K3ITHK, on 11/24/2007, -1/+15"wouldn't have"
- AROZ, on 11/23/2007, -0/+14How is she a perennial snoop? There's nothing to worry about when your significant other turns off the cable and telephone one day. Congratulatory letters about house purchases come in all the time, right?
- finista, on 11/23/2007, -2/+16You can ***** off now.
- fxu1989, on 11/24/2007, -1/+14It pretty much works one way. At least of all the cases I've heard of it ended with the man being fu-ked up the a--.
- cbuddha42, on 11/23/2007, -1/+14I don't think invective meant legally; he's saying she wasn't the one who won so she shouldn't get the benefit of winning unless her husband wants to share. Legally I'm sure she will get some money. And yes, he might have not told her because he knew she wouldn't let him spend it all the way he wanted to.
- byrdgang, on 11/24/2007, -0/+12I hate how women think they are entitled to half, even if they don't put in half of the work. Regardless of how much effort or work they have put in, they are quick to scream "Half!" How often do you hear of men doing the very same thing? I am sure there are men out there who do this too, but most of the time, it is the woman.
When it comes to debt, it doesn't matter whether she takes you down with her, you are still liable. You can't go to court, and claim that your wife was the person excessively shopping.
The legal system is unfairly geared towards women, because of the disadvantages they faced in the past. They are despicable for using past injustices to further their own greed today. Work for your damn money. Stop trying to leech off other people.
Yes, I know I'll be dugg down for being "sexist." -
