- kd1s, on 11/03/2009, -0/+4I notice this with a new pair of bluetooth earphones I recently purchased. Indoors they work great, I can put em' on, slip the iPod in my pocket, and no skips, burps, or what have you. This is staying still or moving around.
I step out onto the street and snap, it's like every 10 steps I get dropouts, etc. I know it's because all these consumer devices sit in the 2.4GHz ISM band. I noted that the dropouts always lasted around 10 or so seconds. Most of the problems the S9 has is due to the controls on the earphone stalks. I've heard spraying them with a low water content hairspray actually helps to keep moisture out.
