- dgath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Haha... Firefox extensions from Microsoft. Doooooon't think I'm touching that one with a 10 foot pole.
- Portfolioso, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Screw Microsoft's plugins. Use the greasemonkey script. It works perfectly for me.
- monkeestylee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wait, if i got this straight, the WGA workaround worked in firefox before WGA even worked in firefox?

- trip9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think this is a step in the right direction for Microsoft.
- gherikill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Now if they would only fix hotmail to work with firefox.
- teamparadox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Microsoft does something good and people still complain, why dont you all just grow up and stop acting like Nintendo fanboys.
- stokestack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is the site supposed to be formatted to look like ass?
Oh yeah, did you notice where it said that the new validation method depends on the Sony rootkit? - Sirocco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have mixed emotions about this. It's nice that MS is getting the picture, but I also have my doubts about MS-produced Firefox extensions.
- Greg-J, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is there still a workaround for this, or did they finally button it up?
- greivance, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Hmmm.. Good question, you can use the Greasemonkey Script in Linux and get downloads from Micro$haft.
- Amplix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm with dqath on this.
- amitpagarwal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I won't call it a Firefox extension but a Firefox plug-in from Microsoft
- Sharky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yey, a step forward with Microsoft accepting FireFox. This is good, very good.
- D3THk4t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Heh - I wonder what'd do on OSX86... (oh just you wait, someone will port WINE to OSX)
- antoniojvr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's a trap!
- herting, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Next question is "does the WGA workaround work in Firefox?"
- n3tfury, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"does it work on the linux version? LOL"
next. - dignan2681, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Now someone needs to write a Greasemonkey script that breaks this extension.

I haven't read anything on that page that says it depends on the Sony rootkit. - herting, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0...crap, forgot html links dont work in comments... here is the URL for the workaround:

Given Microsoft's past transgressions, it should not be surprising for people to approach this with a healthy level of suspicion. Stop acting like an Xbox boi. - packetstorm5150, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Just so you know... Firefox is licensed under the GNU so Microsoft is actually breaking the law because a commercial company cannot add content to GNU Licensed product without prior consent from the owner. And from everything that I have read...the developers have not given consent. F U *****.
