- mark076h, on 12/30/2008, -2/+15They should have used Digg and MrBabyMan for the article.
- Paulorific, on 12/30/2008, -2/+14If only I could buy groceries using the currency of praise.
- d2002, on 12/29/2008, -0/+11Stillpissed -- Great brand or greatest brand?
- maz2331, on 12/30/2008, -1/+11Not in the USA it doesn't. We don't speak English.

- tgc1, on 12/30/2008, -0/+9I saw this wicked quote on craigslist the other day...
"If you pay in peanuts, you get monkeys"
Think about that a minute. - pagno, on 12/29/2008, -2/+10And they want to restrict the Internet more, day-by-day. Huh?
- DirtyVicar, on 12/30/2008, -0/+8"When Austin and her team experimented with financial incentives, they discovered that volunteers appreciated the gesture, but didn't want payment."
i.e. "thanks, but really, but a $5 check, and I have to fill out a W-9? no thanks!" - mark076h, on 12/30/2008, -1/+8No thanks

Proficient in Linux, Firefox and various fan-boy collective-think logic. - stuffradio, on 12/30/2008, -0/+4Great comment, A+++ Would digg again!
- Lewie, on 12/30/2008, -5/+9BLASPHEMY!! Capitalism says that innovation happens ONLY if you throw enough money at it!
- bipolarruledout, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3Isn't there a certain amount of money you can legally earn without filing? Or at least claiming it on tax forms?
- Coestar, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/labor - "Also, especially British, labour. " I wonder what they mean by "especially" British? Like... if you're feeling especially British, you can spell it "labour"?
- sillyjoobs, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3so stupid
unless you're being sarcastic
but when the word "gold" is used on digg, it's impossible to tell - bipolarruledout, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3Can you put it on your resume? Will it help you secure a real job; on that pays currency which can be exchanged for goods and services? These are things I want to know.
- inactive, on 12/30/2008, -3/+6 This is where I use my creativity to insert a witty comment to receive praise.
- diggdatt, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3I refuse to work for any for-profit company for free. We get emails asking us to volunteer for something and once they planned to organize a building out of good merit. Sorry, they have money and they can pay if they want something done. That is how capitalism works bitch. They can't complain when their company is profitable under the same system. Dont do free work to make anyone else rich.
- pandawa, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3heres the thing
making people that have abundant leisure work to fill meaningless blank timeis good business because it makes sense.
they could exersise
read an enlightening short-story
or sit on their ass and type on a computer, just like we are doing tight now.
my work is done. - dupswapdrop, on 12/30/2008, -1/+4This is same labor model as real estate company's, just keep the cows coming in the door and your'e make money.
- junkneo, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3For example diggers in DIGG.

- thejokker, on 12/30/2008, -1/+3no, its that businesses survive only if they can profit, not if they are supported by the government and declard TO BIG TO FAIL
- TheMachine1, on 12/30/2008, -0/+2I make lame pointless comments to drive traffic away. I do not want "The Man" making profit off me. Well its mostly because I suck.
- Owwmykneecap, on 12/30/2008, -0/+2I'm Irish you Canadian prick
- rescu911, on 12/30/2008, -1/+3As a Digg user, I resemble this (remarkable) article.
- SadMartigan, on 12/30/2008, -0/+2My point is that there are all sorts of crowd-sourced solutions out there on the web, and some of them are being under utilized. Every day, here in the south of Spain, I see new translations from Spanish into English, that are laughable, but that could have been proofread for free online.
- reyalp, on 12/30/2008, -0/+2"gols"
