Wikipedia Editors Under Fire (again!)
zorpia.com — Wikipedia have managed to upset a whole social networking site this time, by excluding any articles or domain references to Zorpia.com. In an ongoing battle of words, Zorpia users (Zorpians), have formed a lobby to protest Wikipedia's view that Zorpia is not 'notable'. Some Zorpians have replied to this with a 'picture campaign'.

I've been a Wikipedian for a little over 18 months now, so I decided to post my $.02 in the discussion on the "Articles for Deletion" page.
The guy who deleted the article jumped on my butt for being upset and critical. I pointed out that Zorpia has millions of Members, a number of (non-Zorpia) web pages stating just that.
Then another chimed in. The admins seem to be quite the cliquish lot.
The "admin" who deleted the article is half my age. With age comes wisdom (generally, that is). He's got some growing up to do. OK, well that's a bit hypocritical on my part, considering my comments there, but nevertheless....

Zorpia is awesome! I've been there for nearly a year, and have been addicted ever since. I've met TONS of new friends, and the site is set up WAY better than any of the other social networking sites. The forums are a great place to have fun or get serious. There is something for every type of personality at Zorpia. I used to use Wikipedia alot, but after the recent credentials scandal, and now this malicious slander against Zorpia, I won't use it ever again!

These are legitimate law Agencies im sure this this can give you some sufficient Evidence to go on
not only does this show that zorpia.com is fighting online predators actively it also shows that Zorpia.com is against online crime Drugs Spamming and Perverts.

You don't have to be a fan of Zorpia to realize that it's wrong of a Wikipedia admin to accuse a legitimate social networking site of drug spamming without proof. They also stated that Zorpia isn't "notable" enough for an entry in Wikipedia, which is another load of crap. Whether you like Zorpia or not, this issue is just about basic fair treatment. I realize the internet is an international forum, but in the US at least, slander is illegal, and what Wikipedia is doing to Zorpia is slander.

Zorpia is mentioned in at least 6 articles on known websites regarding it's notability and existence, this is a requirement for an article to be notable according to Wikipedia's notability clause!

I am not a moderator or administrator, but do my share of getting rid of the spam and porn pics there. I once visited over 3,000 pages at one sitting just for that reason. Zorpia is a great site for social networking for me. Personally I have not paid much attn to anything but forums and my page but I have yet to see anything related to drugs. lots of pervs though. I say give Zorpia a chance wikpedia and have a couple of your admins join in to check us out.. And by accusing that Zorpia is a "drug spamming website"..... WHAT????? Does the founder of Wikipedia even know what is Zorpia? Zorpia is a website just like "MySpace" or "Friendster" where people share their photos, blog, life with their friends. If this is the case then any information about ALL social network sites should be removed from Wikipedia.
I usually go to Wikipedia to search for some information when I want to.
