Tech companies are so funny they have all of this money and stock just based on unproven potential. Only in America. - YakiSauce, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8So the "four guys in new york" account for 4 of these diggs. Why is anyone else digging this?
- skored, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8"sort of digg-wiki-sports hybrid thing"
Wow- really clear description there... - patburke1980, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6FYI, this story is linked to techcrunch...unlikely this story is spam.
- misterpony, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Wow. I tried to use armchairgm for awhile and it seemed like I was the only user at all. I was the only one submitting and commenting. There wasn't ANYONE else submitting. I gave up and never went back. I just checked it out and there are some newer stories now. This is amazing...it seemed so dead.
- spudnic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Yeah I'm still no clearer on what the hell this thing is
- patburke1980, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Um...what?
- bertram, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1but most of the TechCrunch posts ARE spam - this isn't necessarily the best case for my opinion, but most of the time a link to TC is pointless because the site in question could be linked to directly.
- Madmooch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3ArmChair has been a great site..a great time killer at work and certainly the users have shared an interesting perspective into their opinions about the world of sports. I think that this is great.
- treelovinhippie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1How exactly do either of those sites make money?
VCs are bloody fueling another web bubble which is going to burst! .... you cannot have a business without a revenue model. - VG05, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Ive used armchairgm, pretty neat editorial site, but 2million bucks? damn. 2million dollars is a lot of money.
- macewan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Now they can afford to unclutter the site.
- mxwlpxwl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i need to learn how to program, because i have plenty of scatter-brained ideas just as good as this one.
- MrCalifornia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1it's ugly compared to http://www.sportiki.com
- abudhabi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2oh you should add Wikia guys too :)) nice PR :P spammer company! pathetic
- dan4prez, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1That armchair site looks really cluttered.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Wait, does this thing have anything to do with the Electric Car?
- caryw, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Who? What now?
Spam.
Buried. Nice try with the creative PR, please try again. - abudhabi, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4+1 .. and this one smells spam
