Why won't ISPs increase upload speeds?

zeropaid.com — As people begin to contribute more content to the internet, i.e. podcasts, video clips, etc., the need for greater upload speeds has never been greater yet, they continue to insist that there's no demand.

  • RockMyMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have been hearing rumors of awhile now that the ISP's are supposed to roll out some new fiber optic revolution that will more then quadruple both upload and download speeds. At the rate they are going, I could get it in my area in about 20 years.
  • nasium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I WOULD like to see increased speeds on my cable line, but i know it will only be a matter of time before it happens. This of course is the natural progression of bandwidth cost and it will come someday as technology grows. If only I could browse the web faster right now, i could digg that much faster! muah!
