- thenativeraver, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13I bet it has something to do with the last four letters of the domain.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10A better question--why are there so many frontpage stories about Digg?
Anyone else remember the time before Digg was overrun by 14-year-olds and their typos? Remember when you got actual programming and science articles and not an endless cycle of PirateBay, Digg, and Apple stories (and this is coming from an Apple fan)? I hate to say it, but I've been visiting Slashdot a lot more lately because the articles and commentary are actually more thoughtful.
On Digg, the story cycle is:
Random pro-piracy article
Something about Digg
Apple hype
"OH NOS, SOMEONE IS 'stealing' DIGG'S LAYOUT!"
Random pro-piracy article
Something about Digg
Apple hype - Khlept0, on 10/12/2007, -7/+15Why does your blog suck so bad?
- Mininday, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I'm not even going to read the article, I'm just going to agree.
- dgcrazykid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I agree, I try to search for a article that I read a few days ago and it takes me about 10 minutes, after not fining it with the search, I have to manually go through the stories. It sucks

- heathenx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3cripes! i thought i was the only one who noticed this.
- simplenation, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Kevin Rose (founder of Digg) commented on this problem awhile back:
"Problem is going to be fixed, we are adding it back in shortly. Sorry for the delay, we are working on it."

- manish22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Digg search is really lame. I can not find an article on remote desktop that was submitted few weeks ago even though it has "Remote Desktop" in its title and was on front page.
- electronaught, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3no, it sucks when you can't search your dugg stories separately like you use to be able to.
- Khlept0, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Should have "little" somwhere in that url.
- flarn2006, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1you're right it does
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Why does Wikipedia's search suck so bad?
- vdxc, on 09/29/2008, -1/+2I'm not saying that Digg's search feature is brilliant but complaining isn't going to solve it.
Anybody would think you're paying to use Digg. Digg's a _free_ service, provided for _free_, as in, you're _not_ paying! Get the idea? Pay and then complain when it doesn't work. - pjman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does anyone know how to search your own profile? Digg 2.0 would let you search your dugg stories. Since the 3.0 upgrade I can't figure out how to do this. Maybe I'm missing something...

- DatDamWuf, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I'm digging this because I've had the same issue. What really drives me nuts is that you cannot find out if an article has already been posted when submitting without going through the whole process of submission first. Except....
But, wait! They fixed it! Today when I put in the URL of an article, digg zippily brought up a page with the article already submitted. Much better now unless you think the original submission didn't have a good title or description, because now you don't have an option to submit a dupe. So, what's it going to do to the top submitters when they can't submit an article that's already on digg? Should be interesting to watch :). - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Works fine for me.
- xptweakerntn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1totally been wondering this for a long time, it is worse that yahoo search.
(google rules) - TheYellowMole, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Whoa! Kevin Rose is the founder of Digg? You learn something new every day.
