Who split up Rocketboom? Amanda or Andrew, you decide!

rocketvote.com — You decide who has split up the revolutionary video blog Rocketboom. Amanda Congdon has stated that, “I apparently have been unboomed, apparently my partner Andrew Baron is no longer interested in being my partner.” Andrew Baron says "“Amanda Congdon has decided to move to L.A." What do you think?

  • john608, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Maybe it is just a publicity stunt to get more traffic to the sagging rocketboom. I couldn't think of a better way to get peoples attention...Still if the story is real I would side with Amanda - It does have the ring of truth.
  • hawkmucci, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Amanda is precious. Andrew should have stopped at nothing to keep him if he wanted to keep the site alive. Amanda is rocketboom. Maybe Andrew could have a contest on myspace to find the replacement. I'm sure there are plenty of twelve year olds ready to buck up.
    • teradome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Don't knock the role of the producer, and don't think that what Amanda brought to the table isn't reproducible. While I did think she was probably a Muppet that was granted womanhood by a magical fairy, she's clearly someone's cup of tea and will take viewers with her, but let's be real here, even though it was a vlog it was done so with direction and precision. At best, they'll split and grow their respective audiences because they both were quite good at what they were doing. At worst, we'll find out who exactly was carrying who soon enough.
