- Epik, on 06/20/2008, -51/+357Sadly, Reddit is much better nowadays.
- deanoplex, on 06/20/2008, -6/+283Product loyalty has always struck me as if it was kind of a mini-patriotism.
- inactive, on 06/20/2008, -26/+303Looks like Reddit had its grave dugg.

- soaptray, on 06/20/2008, -12/+193Not only a shovel... a shovel the size of his head! That's an asskicking shovel!
- euro22, on 12/17/2008, -24/+189content wise.. UI is still ***** though.
- mackii, on 06/20/2008, -7/+161Reddit is where 90% of digg posts appear first
- ElBeh, on 06/20/2008, -46/+192***** yeah, Digg.
- aussieNickuss, on 06/20/2008, -2/+144Digg -> Dugg -> Shovel
How the hell did you think it was a lamp? - Audacitor, on 06/20/2008, -2/+121http://www.reddit.com/info/6egco/comments/c03ma6i
- spartan92290, on 06/20/2008, -8/+118Hardly worth comparing them, neither can even spell "dig" or "read it"
- Seth024, on 06/20/2008, -88/+194Go Reddit!
(this comment will reach -1000 diggs) - bbqsalad, on 06/20/2008, -19/+99sorry guys reddit wins, the users are smarter, the site is much more powerful and has better articles way before digg.
- WCL23, on 06/20/2008, -6/+72These days the Digg front page is a list of things that was on Reddit the day before. Reddit's UI isn't as good as Digg's though.
- gio92, on 06/20/2008, -17/+82I always thought it was a lamp :(
- punkcat, on 06/20/2008, -6/+68use Reddit to look into the future of Digg posts.
- keeganspeck, on 06/20/2008, -2/+64http://www.googlefight.com/index.php?lang=en_GB&wo ...
WHAT THE ***** JUST HAPPENED THERE - Trax91, on 06/20/2008, -4/+62Untrue, in fact Reddit has lesser trolls than Digg.
- gio92, on 06/20/2008, -2/+54Well the term burying only clicked as being related to digging recently as well
I guess I should pay more attention to the internet - inactive, on 06/20/2008, -27/+78Reddit is like Hillary Clinton, I'm voting for it to keep this race exciting.
- Audacitor, on 06/20/2008, -0/+49moar: http://www.reddit.com/info/6nz1k/comments/c04ehte
and if you belt out a tl;dr, well... your loss. - brkhobowriter, on 06/20/2008, -0/+48I thought it was a ***** mailbox...
- punkcat, on 06/20/2008, -5/+49i voted for Reddit because Digg gets a lot of its stories from there.
UI is ***** as mentioned above and threads are hard to read. - peccadillop, on 06/20/2008, -2/+43were u the one who said "GO DIGG" on reddit ??
- purzzzell, on 06/20/2008, -3/+41*puts pinky finger to corner of mouth*
Muhahahahahahaha - tama00, on 06/20/2008, -14/+51Just for this stupid story to hitting the front page im voting reddit
- TheInfamousOne, on 06/20/2008, -3/+39* post saying how reddit has all digg articles first, completely ignoring the others above me*
- Zounas, on 06/20/2008, -0/+35We need NSFW topics here...
- apotheon, on 06/20/2008, -2/+36Don't believe all these people. Not all Digg posts were on reddit first.
All the good Digg posts were, though. - GhandicapXRS, on 06/20/2008, -1/+35Yeah and look at the size of that right leg! He must work it out a lot!
- Virgule, on 06/20/2008, -0/+34I voted Reddit mostly for its thread system. They are also OPEN SOURCE.
Threads can go deep and you can collapse/expand trees. See the [ - ] to collapse and [ + ] to expand? Subtle but its there. Lastly, its lightweight and does not annoy me with useless (AJAX?) animations and what not.
On the other hand, Digg has some clever features I have yet to locate on Reddit, if they exist at all, like "only mine - only friends" filter and "Who Dugg it?" fun button. - PrometheusZero, on 06/20/2008, -3/+37Funny how it just has a digg button, but no reddit button...
- maexus, on 06/20/2008, -7/+40I enjoy the minimalist and clean UI.
- johnnyboy239, on 06/20/2008, -0/+31As opposed to those GREATER trolls
- chillypacman, on 06/20/2008, -4/+34if they could, fanboys would invade countries for the soul purpouse of spreading firefox, digg, Linux as if it were liberty.
I find it scary there are people who equate their software with liberty... it actually makes the war mongerers look sane when they say war brings freedom. haha. - HayString, on 06/20/2008, -2/+32A regular shovel is the size of your head, that's nothing special, dumbass.
- picpak, on 06/20/2008, -1/+30Reddit wins this round.
- atomicthumbs, on 06/20/2008, -0/+28With Reddit, you can see Digg posts before they're submitted to Digg.
- quetzalcoatl1, on 06/20/2008, -1/+29FEWER trolls.
- inactive, on 06/20/2008, -4/+31Yes they are. In fact, they're funnier. Also, they're
a) more insightful
b) smarter
c) made by people who aren't 14 - nexus37, on 06/20/2008, -25/+52What's Reddit?
- brainworms, on 06/20/2008, -1/+27The internet is big enough for everyone.
- aroundtown, on 06/20/2008, -1/+27Without reddit, where would so many submissions get copied from?
- xsidekick409, on 06/20/2008, -7/+32Let me get this straight, you are comparing two websites' popularities based on how many people vote for each website. One website has a much, much larger user base than the other. The result of this test is completely obvious, and has no bearing as to which website is better than the other. All you can glean from this vote is that more Digg users voted than Reddit users.
- zenoz, on 06/20/2008, -1/+24Which one would you like to meet?
- A wierd, red eyed happy alien
- An emotionless, grey, square headed guy holding a shovel.
I feel if I look at Digg in the wrong way, I will explode! Seriously, he doesn't even have eyes but I still think he's watching me! -
