- mindhacker, on 11/14/2007, -1/+35Facebook surely wouldn't have been what it is today if Friendster had acquired them.
- andrewcsayer, on 11/14/2007, -0/+26Here's another headline - When I could have bought GOOG shares at 75 bucks a pop.
- PoopsMcG, on 11/14/2007, -0/+15Well, Friendster does have a history of brilliant business moves...

but i went to dealer instead and bought some coke - QuixoticNoob, on 11/15/2007, -5/+10Man, we could of had The Facester... Oh, the things they could have accomplished.
- TheWorm, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4Friendster had no direction or innovation, and no business skills. The worst part about that site is that there was even less to do than myspace...and it was full of webcam "girls" spamming your messages.
- inactive, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3Not with your spelling and grammar errors...
- thefandango, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2coca cola stock over google? unfortunate.

- pulsifier, on 11/14/2007, -1/+2bury. anything having to do with facebook.
- bigteebo, on 11/14/2007, -0/+1Didn't friendster also turn down a buy-out, holding out for more money? Ouch.
- Jumangi, on 11/14/2007, -0/+1This means nothing since when Friendster was looking at Facebook it was way before it was popular, and there's nothing to show they would have made the same decisions as the current owners to make it as popular as it is now.
Pointless article. No Digg. - ladyarcher85, on 11/14/2007, -2/+3Thankfully, friendster did not buy facebook!
- Labut, on 11/14/2007, -0/+1They turned down Google offer. Bad move friendster!
If Google succesfully acquired Friendster, Google social networking will cover the whole demographic of Brazil (Orkut), the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. - streetsmartchic, on 01/31/2008, -0/+0hmmm... Friendster made their ways same as myspace... i don't know if facebook can penetrate also the market of friendster... hmmmm... i can't modify my facebook account... maybe i'm not use to it yet...
http://www.kanati.com.ph - blackice3357, on 11/16/2007, -0/+0I believe there were hundreds of different variations of friendster, facebook, myspace, social communities out there before they got huge. The difference is there management and marketing technique, if they bought facebook, there is no telling if they would have even been profitable.
- mojaam, on 11/14/2007, -3/+2Another case of the should have could have would have but didn't syndrome.
- benroy, on 11/14/2007, -3/+2Would have, could have, should have. Hindsight is 20/20. You know what this is? (rubs thumb and index finger together) it's the worls smallest violin.
- tsmart, on 11/14/2007, -2/+0 I could have been ruler of the world to.
- davewashere, on 11/14/2007, -3/+1Never. I'm pretty sure the IPO was around $85 and high demand pushed that to $105 before any "regular" investor had the chance to purchase. I said it was overvalued at that price, and I'm beginning to think I may have been wrong.
- JoaoPe, on 11/14/2007, -4/+1Imagine if I shot Larry Page and Sergey Brin to death when they live next to me... no Google? ***** NO!
- DiggityDugged, on 11/14/2007, -9/+2Sux 2BU!
