buried as inaccurate. - PicklePower, on 01/06/2009, -1/+49The thumbnail made me check out the story, but I was sadly disappointed.
- jonesyno, on 01/07/2009, -0/+45Myspace music is awesome if you like T.I. featuring Beyonce, featuring Kanye, featuring, Lil' whoever of the week.
- awilson9119, on 01/05/2009, -8/+38dugg for digg
- eTronicGaming, on 01/07/2009, -1/+25Dugg for the Oompa Loompa.
- elendryst, on 01/07/2009, -3/+24Buring for Myspace still being on the list.
- inactive, on 01/07/2009, -1/+20actually, i was having a heart attack, then i found that list
- bblande, on 01/07/2009, -1/+18Twitter? Seriously?
- FutureGuy, on 01/07/2009, -0/+16I will go out on a limb and say if all these websites go dark, I think I will survive.
- axelo, on 01/07/2009, -0/+16no pornhub?
- Four20, on 01/07/2009, -1/+16the iphone 3g isn't a website :p
- PGPirate, on 01/07/2009, -0/+14"5,000 closest friends" really? 5,000 close friends on facebook? I call *****. You know you added those girls cause they are hot.
- Bloodwine, on 01/07/2009, -0/+13Not sure if the submitter understands the meaning of "productive".
- inactive, on 01/07/2009, -0/+13I'm pretty sure I can live without an iPhone.
- icegoddess13, on 01/07/2009, -1/+14Sorry, but I prefer Google's 1-800-GOOG-411 over any of the other 411 services I've tried.
- brett1337, on 01/06/2009, -9/+21forget about pandora. last.fm is superior in every way
- slyzxx, on 01/07/2009, -0/+10for some reason i was looking for oompa loompas also
- Arasaka, on 01/07/2009, -0/+10I can live without Twitter, thank you very much. Maybe YOU can't, but I can. In fact, I live more, if I'm not, you know, updating what I'm doing all the time to show off...
- benologist, on 01/07/2009, -0/+9He's a blogger.... "productive" means hitting refresh on your ad earnings.
- locondcoco, on 01/07/2009, -3/+11if you're going to bury it, bury it for inaccurate TITLE. the title of the article is the websites the AUTHOR can't live without.
- MattB123, on 01/07/2009, -0/+8There's an outside world?!?!
- Hockey13, on 01/07/2009, -0/+8You dugg a list of sites to go to because digg was one of them? You're already here.
- UnFriendlyFire, on 01/07/2009, -1/+8Wow, people from the outside world are aware of Digg.
- AlienMushroom, on 01/07/2009, -0/+7Who on Earth still listens to ***** commercials on 800-free-411 when there is 800-goog-411?
- serif69, on 01/07/2009, -0/+7As much as it pains me to defend myspace (and it does), that site has turned into a boon for local bands. In fact, I don't think I know a single local band that doesn't have a myspace page with a lot of their songs. If they could somehow integrate a last.fm/Pandora/Genius recommendation system, it would be absolutely phenomenal.
Myspace is retarded for the social networking aspect, but they have done a great job making it very easy for local bands to get the word out. - rgaino, on 01/07/2009, -2/+9mint.com my friends
mint.com - inactive, on 01/07/2009, -0/+7Productive? None of these website actually make you more productive, if anything they are a time-sink.
- serif69, on 01/07/2009, -2/+8Except for the part where Pandora recommends unique artists and songs based on musicality, whereas last.fm recommends artists and songs everyone else has already heard of based on artists and songs everyone else has already heard of...
- computershack, on 01/07/2009, -5/+11Buried for proving the author is nothing more than a sad ***** with no life who buys all the marketing ***** of social websites. He probably has no real friends at all.
- WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -0/+6I don't think I even *know* 5,000 people -.-
- vysakh, on 01/07/2009, -1/+6why is last.fm not in the list ?
- WatchDragon, on 01/07/2009, -1/+6i cant live without zombo.com
- Cl1mh4224rd, on 01/07/2009, -1/+6Dugg for the totally irrelevant, yet oddly hilarious Oompa Loompa thumbnail...
- Mudcrutch, on 01/07/2009, -1/+6why twitter? argh.
- elevatedms, on 01/07/2009, -0/+5I hate Myspace but I disagree. A lot of my favorite smaller bands have been abandoning personal websites in favor of Myspace.
- clairdelune371, on 01/07/2009, -1/+5I used to like Pandora, but..
"We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S."
Not useful if I can't reach it. At least I can use last.fm. - yeehawjared, on 01/07/2009, -1/+5no mint.com?
- inactive, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4If it wasn't bad enough people telling you what you "have never seen", now they will tell you what you cant live without. lame
- jonesyno, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4No doubt. Its great for exposure for smaller bands. . . but the article was detailing the latest iteration of Myspace Music. . . with the featured streams of crappy major label manufactured stars.
- Grazfather, on 01/07/2009, -3/+7Buried for iphone 3G.
- PouyaZ, on 01/07/2009, -1/+5Very few computer literate people, if any, could go one year without at least using, if not relying on, Google search or Wikipedia. In addition, Google maps' large database of points of interests, innovative technology, and integration across multiple platforms (such as PC/Mac, iPhone, random software) would also be enough to put it on the list even if you have a stand alone GPS unit such as a Garmin.
- revolve, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4I can't live without food and water in 2009.
- SethEllis, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3Contrary to popular believe you can live without the internet.
- DCGUY12, on 01/07/2009, -3/+64chan.org
- poopdigger, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3Surprised wikipedia isn't on there...
- hanger69er, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3EXACTLY!! I can live w/out all those sites, but don't know if I could live w/out porn.... and don't want to chance it!
- adkenc, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3yeah, submitter can't read i guess. i noticed it said firefox removed and the iphone is probably the closest thing to replace it. this seems really stupid though, because if they have an iphone, why would they need other things on the list - like directory assistance?
- CylonsOfTheLamb, on 01/07/2009, -2/+5stupid list
- inactive, on 01/08/2009, -0/+3If you can't live w/o digg, just kill yourself now.
- Corrosionx, on 01/07/2009, -1/+4Facebook is only cool for people who have friends IRL.
