- G-RaZoR, on 10/12/2007, -8/+18Is this really necessary? Another blog service?
- Flump5000, on 10/12/2007, -12/+4just a fancy myspace.
- gookie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Vox Leo/Kevin, Vox Populi.
- briansalo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Not really... Although Vox is an amalgamation of the better features from other services... so it stands out at this point in time as undoubtedly the best of them.
- exobyte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Good ol' Latin. For being dead, it still pops up a lot.
- linktothepast, on 10/12/2007, -17/+4Finally! I've been hoping more people could join.
- rhesuspieces00, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17i can, now tell me why I should. i'm not trolling. what makes Vox cool?

The ability to upload all of your photo collections, music and video. There's also over 100 themes and always growing plus a great interface for posting and such and the friends feature of Livejournal is in there too.
- TheToecutter, on 10/12/2007, -11/+7Blogs for the masses = overrated and overdone.
- OpCzar, on 10/12/2007, -16/+5How did this spam get through?
- secretivecoward, on 10/12/2007, -11/+1Reported story as Spam.
- chunkylimey, on 10/12/2007, -7/+11Another blog? Why not. Myspace ruined it, livejournal too much hassle and blogger just seems clumsy. I'll give Vox a try. More importantly though it would be nice if there was a moron monitor. Myspace has acheived critical moron mass and is danger of a moron implosion. No wonder Rupert Murdoch bought Myspace it's just the kind of place he likes, a place to farm sheep-like people, just like his Fox network.
- donloper, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8And what other blog software company has their own line of shoes? http://www.voxfootwear.com
- odaen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6And also their own line of guitar amplifiers.

I know they arn't the same company, just Vox isn't exactly an original name. - slugicide, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It means voice. Pretty good name for what it is.
- akaWombat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You forgot Vox Vodka!

- odaen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6And also their own line of guitar amplifiers.
- Dotnetsky, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2I predict (and it didn't take a lot of thought) that it will be history within six months.
After all, what the HELL is a "blog"?- ElMoselYEE, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3its been around for longer than 6 months already...and that was just to private users. i don't see how going public could kill the site.
- JuyLe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm a vox user since like 2 month and really enjoy it, it's myspace, but really web2.0-ish, and without the mess.
- Zero456, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1*Shudders at the idea of another MySpace*
- SpongeBrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's pretty cool. I've had my blog on there for months but haven't checked it lately. :P
- l0th, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've been a wordpress user for 3 years now and I won't move to Vox because I feel comfortable where I am now and I like to have the ability to fine tune the settings and design of my blog. However, I've tried Vox and think it's great for a lot of people. Some users mentioned myspace here but I believe Vox is quite the contrary of MySpace: this is not for users who think billions of people are interested in what they have to say or who want to make 273 millions virtual friends they don't know and never talk to. This an older, and in my view better, approach to social networking : Vox is geared towards people who want to maintain an existing relationship with real friends and family on the net, share posts, pictures, videos and music with them. Vox is meant to help you replicate smaller, non-virtual communities and I think there's a need for that. If anything, I think Vox competes with the MSN live space crap and it's great there's another option out there, sleeker, easier and better.
