- DiggUnderground, on 09/25/2009, -0/+23That's not good news for my inbox!!!
- MScrip, on 09/26/2009, -0/+22Not only are people helping spammers by actually responding to those e-mails... the worst part is... they are buying prescription drugs from a shady source on the Internet!
Double fail... - v3rtex7740, on 09/26/2009, -0/+22I think the greater message here is to NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SPAM
do it for yourself, and the greater internets
someone should make a psa - MrBrotato, on 09/26/2009, -0/+14I don't understand what is going on. People are still getting spam? I haven't received spam in years. Come to think of it, it was right about the time I signed up for Gmail.
- MacBookForMe, on 09/25/2009, -1/+9...and ever growing...
- SolidSnak, on 09/26/2009, -1/+8Do we have to bring politics into everything?
- SpyDerMann, on 09/26/2009, -0/+5I see what you did there.
- criztiz, on 09/26/2009, -0/+5secret revealed...and i was thinking spammers do this for fun. Now I know...it's for the money:)
- copypastry, on 09/26/2009, -3/+6If people are getting lots of viagra, it's good news for a lot of inboxes.
- inactive, on 09/26/2009, -0/+3Boner
- bebopredux, on 09/26/2009, -0/+3You mean ArsTechnica's "inboxes will remain crowded" with Spam?
You mean I'm the only one that uses Gmail and has it forwarded to my other accounts? I don't get any spam at all. None. I pretty much use Gmail as a "filter" for it. I have a Yahoo account I never use. Ever. I checked it today just to see and there are upwards of 100-250 emails each day sent to it. 100% of it spam. Amazing. I've never even sent an email out from that account.
Stupid is as stupid does and there are plenty of idiots out there that endure spam as though they HAVE to. - Charlotte_Web, on 09/26/2009, -0/+2It's amazing that spam is as effective as it is. Honestly, who doesn't have a spam filter these days? My spam filter captures almost 100% of spam, I never see it.
- noyurawk, on 09/26/2009, -3/+5Two words: death penalty.
- antdude, on 09/27/2009, -0/+2Your inbox need viagra. It's too small!
- copypastry, on 09/26/2009, -0/+2some people didn't :|
- MScrip, on 09/26/2009, -0/+2>> "There really just the same as your regular drug dealer except they get to be protected by the law..."
Yippee? - ftc08, on 09/26/2009, -0/+2But I love their Oven Roasted "Turkey".
I'm in college, I can't live without it. - MisterEThoughts, on 09/25/2009, -1/+2Lord, what is the secret?
- sexybobo, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1You infect pc's with a virus to send out email so it cost you nothing to send millions of emails.
out of those million emails you get a couple hundred idiots to buy something and you roll in the dough. - InfiniteNothing, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1I hear some people are still using hotmail.
- Nanoha, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1you know more then 5000+ people died cause of this -_- . Couple of years. Funny how this is legal while pot isnt, pot hasnt killed anyone.
- v3rtex7740, on 09/26/2009, -1/+2i bet that ***** takes a month off ur life with every can
- InfiniteNothing, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1Surely the market price of a spam email goes down as filtering improves
- inactive, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1Kill all the bad people and then we'll be free.
- inactive, on 09/26/2009, -1/+2wtf?
- Tarkaan, on 09/26/2009, -3/+4From http://www.viagra.com
The most common side effects of VIAGRA are headache, facial flushing, and upset stomach. Less commonly, bluish vision, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light may briefly occur.
Don't take VIAGRA if you take nitrates, often prescribed for chest pain, as this may cause a sudden, unsafe drop in blood pressure.
Discuss your general health status with your doctor to ensure that you are healthy enough to engage in sexual activity. If you experience chest pain, nausea, or any other discomforts during sex, seek immediate medical help.
As with any ED tablet, in the rare event of an erection lasting more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical help to avoid long-term injury.
..........sounds like a party. - battmann, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1it would be funny if these male enhancement pills caused evolutional defects in future generations like elephantitus, and stuff like that...
- nickgj83, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1"in the rare event of an erection lasting more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical help"
i will just call the circus - Cyborg326, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1Am I the only one that finds the broken english ads that redirect to websites in china funny?
- guitarplex, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1I'm sure it has made a couple of people jump off things and run into things, So i'm sure it has killed plenty.
But anyway viagra should be illegal too. Enzyte too, I am utterly annoyed at that series of bob commercials which are on every second of the day. - Philbert, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1I couldn't tell you that, I'm just repeating what they said on one of those Dateline type shows.
- Brokenwolf, on 09/28/2009, -0/+1After a wasp sting caused my husband's finger to swell to 2x normal size, I recommended that he stop clicking on Viagra spam and stick wasps in his shorts instead. Hopefully that's weakened the spammers' bottom-line somewhat.
- lane4, on 09/28/2009, -0/+1Instead of giving advice for something that's never going to happen, we need to figure out a viable solution against spam.
- pinetree, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1I'm too lazy to hunt for a reference, but I'm sure I've read, more than once, that a lot of the prescription drugs spammed on the Internet are NOT the real thing. Fake drugs = no money for the pharma companies, and really dumb to put into your body.
- funkywood, on 09/27/2009, -0/+1Or fully legalize it so you can get it from legit sources without the needing to visit a doctor first.
- captininsanity, on 09/26/2009, -0/+0Sorry my post probably sounded happy about that, but you see my point. The system is quite screwed up, and these pharma companies really aren't that much less shady than the internet dealers...
- akchrs, on 09/26/2009, -3/+3Stupid democrats.
- captininsanity, on 09/26/2009, -3/+3I'm sure that big pharma doesn't care, still cash in their pocket. These drugs come from the same people your doctor gets them from, but online prescriptions can be avoided. There really just the same as your regular drug dealer except they get to be protected by the law...
- MrSteamTank, on 09/26/2009, -1/+1I don't know how often you can suffer from the side effects but let me tell you that if you're young and you take it you basically stay hard for at least an hour. If you want to impress a lady it's a great way to start. It doesn't even have to be viagra because most other ED pills end up working just as well.
I may sound like an ad here but seriously try it once and you'll(at least your girlfriend will) notice the difference. - falser, on 09/26/2009, -1/+1Viagra is not the problem. The problem is email is sent anonymously without any identification required. SMTP was never designed with viagra affiliate spam networks in mind.
Why hasn't anyone invented Email version 2 yet?? I could work out how it can be fixed on a napkin in about 3 minutes. - captininsanity, on 09/26/2009, -2/+1Bulging returns and a swelling of pride for the pharmaceutical companies...
- copypastry, on 09/26/2009, -2/+1Hey uh... any of y'all wanna buy some viagra from me?
- cbfhtu68, on 09/26/2009, -4/+3BIGGER, LONGER & UNCUT!!!
- Philbert, on 09/26/2009, -2/+1As I understand it spammers get paid for the amount of emails they send out not so much from sales generated. So sadly you can block it all you want, they're still getting paid so they'll keep right on sending.
- TuneRaider, on 09/26/2009, -3/+1Don't make a fuss, dear. I'll have yours - I LOVE IT!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODshB09FQ8w - FunnyData, on 09/26/2009, -6/+2no, but i think people should remember who they vote for. How many times do idiot politicians get re elected after doing something crazy
- FunnyData, on 09/26/2009, -12/+3Did you know that Democrats block an anti spam bill. If you dont think so then look it up
