- shibbz, on 07/01/2008, -3/+61Well. Time to start Digging every story about Viagra.
- cledford, on 07/01/2008, -0/+46Maybe now I can make new Digg friends besides the spammers who keep adding me to their list hoping I will add them.
- spookyttws, on 06/30/2008, -2/+37Well its nice to see those 'leaked' images to be proven true. Though I'm not real confident they weren't simply 'leaked' by digg itself.
- mojo4126, on 06/30/2008, -1/+31hopefully this turns out to be of better use then the other digg tools
- mark076h, on 07/01/2008, -0/+13has anyone got the beta tab yet?
- Pottypotsworth, on 07/01/2008, -1/+11Im looking forward to this but my digg history is so erratic so this engine will need to be pretty good.
- IG64, on 07/01/2008, -0/+9You watched that show too? This thing's working already.
- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -2/+11DO NOT QUESTION DIGG! BEND TO ITS WILL!
- iNunchuk, on 07/01/2008, -0/+8Even better update:
Digg Recommendation system here RIGHT NOW!
My theory makes it look like things are going to come faster, Digg me more! (Or Bury, see if I care) - RealmDown, on 07/01/2008, -0/+7Leaked = "Announcement where we want plausible deniability ." or "Let's bash without responsibility"
Hey Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit out of this hat! - kentifer, on 07/01/2008, -0/+7yes.
- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -1/+8than*
- batista86, on 07/01/2008, -0/+5Remember the good ol' days when we complained for a image section or better comment system. Ah, those were the days.
- PueSi, on 07/01/2008, -0/+5They keep adding stuff to Digg but they have yet to fix how slow it has become. Soon we'll need a mirror for Digg.
- RealmDown, on 07/01/2008, -0/+5brrrraaaaaaaiiiiinnnssssss
- gaapgod, on 07/01/2008, -0/+4Computer Scientist
- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -0/+4Great. Now I can have LOL cats personally delivered to me!
- Stketcher, on 07/01/2008, -0/+4Yeah...We totally needed this to hit the front page so we dint forget about the official announcement on the Digg blog post that got to the front page yesterday.
- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3http://digg.com/all/upcoming/most
- zadadka, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3Of course, whatever it is, and however good it is....there'll without doubt be SOMEONE ready to tell you how it has "ruined their life".......
- azzy, on 07/02/2008, -0/+3me too.
- noonions, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3i do.
- erichw1504, on 07/01/2008, -1/+4All my recommendations will be about puppies, Miley Cyrus, and The Hills.
- msddigger, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3Yup, got it
- AngelBunny, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2why is the recommended system upcoming only? why is it not popular too?
- Hefelumpman, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2Do you realise how dumb you sound?
Are you trying to convince people that Digg employs people to recommend stuff, instead of implementing a recommendation engine which will do it automatically, without fuss?
To what end is this ploy you speak of? Are you just another conspiracy nut? - bs0l, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2I have it now also, has it been officially released?
- hooksie, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2Right here
- LeRenard, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2When did it get released? I've got it already.
- sjones12, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2i got it
- noonions, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2i've got it already, but it doesnt seem to be working so well. i digg mostly apple and offbeat, and so far the majority of the stories recommended to me have been about the olympics...but granted it is still in beta.
- tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -0/+2Indeed.
- Crash1337, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2Yeah it has showed up on mine too
- masterm1nd, on 07/01/2008, -2/+3I heard it basically just links to huffington post. So you shouldn't have any problems.
- zadadka, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1Thanks for coming........bye.
- inactive, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1Nearly? I'm soaked!
- Pittance, on 07/01/2008, -0/+180% of all corporate rumors end up being true. Most are deliberately put out by management to gauge the reactions and see how many of their top employees start looking for a way out.
- TSSaloic, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1Hot in X topic(s), it is on the side in the upcoming section of any topic.
- Thorpe, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1We've already had a couple of stories regarding this. Was there any need for a recap story?
- BigManOnCampus, on 07/01/2008, -2/+3"Lead Scientist"?? shouldn't that be "Lead Mathematician" ??
- vladkov, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1Don't multiply entities unnecessarily.
- miquonranger031, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1nope, i don't have it, so it either hasn't been released or my account is screwed up. and that's not the case.
- drgmdp, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1not me :(
- AngelBunny, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1OMG! i'm liking this recommendation system already. I'm not sure if all members have access right now or just me. click the upcoming tab and there it is! neat! ^_^
eww! i'm 19% compatible with SexyPopMachine. Maybe this system isn't so good after all... - sjones12, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1uh... its up
- sdigroup, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1yawn.......squared
- BlaenkDenum, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1Cool, I have it, but I figure everyone does by now? I hope they don't take it away :(
- TSSaloic, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1Or it will take lots of work to remove the incompatible diggers.
- Furkle, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1So after looking at it for a little while, the one thing that comes to mind is that you could game the system fairly easily through purposely trying to have a high compatibility with a large number of users as a means to get stories front paged, it's sort of like a non voluntary friends shout page if used improperly. I might be missing something but I can see this system causing some issues.
- Thorpe, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1I knew this was indeed legit upon noticing Kevin Rose digging the original article.
