University of Oregon First University to Fight RIAA; Says No to Subpoena
recordingindustryvspeople.blog… — The University of Oregon, represented by the Attorney General of the State of Oregon, has made a motion to quash the subpoena served by the RIAA to get student identities for its copyright infringement lawsuits. This is believed to be the first time a college or university has stepped in to fight the RIAA's subpoena.
