- bittermang, on 01/09/2008, -2/+32While these are all very good SEO tips for blogs in general, the admission that "Even robots are tired of reading about over privileged white pseudo celebrity snooty bitches" is glaringly absent.
- NathanielJ, on 01/09/2008, -1/+5If you want search engines (and people) to care about your site, how about you stop writing a damn celebrity blog and make a real website that has content on it? Maybe Google isn't bending over backwards to put you at the top of their search results because they know that no one wants to read another ad-filled POS blog written by some 17-year-old giving their thoughts on Brittany's pregnant sister.
- steve220585, on 01/10/2008, -1/+4This person obviously has no clue as to what works and what doesnt with seo, he has just rehashed stuff he has read on the internet, utter garbage advice, buried for innacurate.
- davidcubed, on 01/09/2008, -1/+4I don't think there are really any tricks in the article.
- Manuelmty, on 01/09/2008, -4/+7Why is ***** like this post popular?
- hubbers, on 01/10/2008, -1/+3Not so great. Why are people digging this?
It seems like very basic SEO knowledge with a lot of speculation to pad the article out to make sure that it is over the magic 100 words that they have decided that Google use as a guide to what is “thin content”
All the suefull stuff from this article could be summed up in two thin bullet points
1. code well
2. have quality meaningful copy
My guess is that if CC isn’t ranking well is it because the code is rubbish and the content isn’t much better. But then it is gossip which is meaningless drivel about the pointless. - obxjdt, on 01/10/2008, -1/+3Buried for trying to pimp a web celebrity site!
- troytime, on 01/10/2008, -1/+3buried, because most of it is crap (specially the validation)
- inactive, on 01/09/2008, -1/+2I love how everything is a penalty... So not true. buried for inaccurate.
- inactive, on 01/09/2008, -1/+2Because the cost per digg on Digital point is .15 - .25 cents. Cheaper than pay per clicks for the amount of traffic ya get.
- davidcubed, on 01/09/2008, -2/+3That has to be the funniest comment I have seen on digg. Kudos!
- Technopundit, on 01/10/2008, -1/+1LEAVE BRITNEY A-LONE!!!!!!!!!!!
- thecryptkeeper, on 01/28/2009, -0/+0Well that's a celebrity blog if that is what they're all about...
http://porno-pedia.com/blog/ - nojoy42, on 01/10/2008, -1/+1Buried as a transparent attempt to plug a ***** web site by front paging digg.
- inactive, on 01/09/2008, -4/+3I have very good positions in three major search eniges (top 1-2 or 2-3). I have yet to have a problem with being penalized by any of them. If all you do is providing good original content as opposed to spamming the net with rehashed garbage produced by others, you will never have a major problem with SE. SEO tricks are oh-so-overrated. Never used them and never will.
- crops, on 01/10/2008, -1/+0anybody could write that without even been a techie just by reading the stupid seo sites.. buried...
- inactive, on 01/09/2008, -2/+1I agree
- ThreeDee912, on 01/09/2008, -7/+3SEO spam...?
