- inactive, on 01/04/2009, -25/+34There are no cool people on Twitter, nothing but jackoffs, attention whores and poop freaks.
- inactive, on 01/05/2009, -4/+13Buried for twitter.

- inactive, on 01/05/2009, -1/+7I'll definitely have to hunt down everything you post and write a script to bury it, you spamming retard.
- inactive, on 01/05/2009, -2/+7No thanks, ***** spam comment!
If Digg gave a ***** about integrity, you'd be banned, *****. - jacekpoplawski, on 01/05/2009, -2/+6Why should I use Twitter?
- inactive, on 01/05/2009, -5/+9Wow, thanks! I'm going to log in with 10 separate IDs to mod up your spammy, ***** comment!
- inactive, on 01/05/2009, -0/+3There are a lot more tools on Twitter than just 2
- mintblogger, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2I use the second one to get good recommendations. MrTweet is the better one...
- bbjohnnyt, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2Twitter: Crack for narcissists.
When someone says, "hey, follow me on Twitter". I tell them I don't follow them around town, why should I online?
The only productive use I've seen for Twitter is when people report first-hand news from some disaster, such as the recent California wildfires. - navk2005, on 01/05/2009, -2/+4lol, on twitter:
annaliese_h: where are all these new twitter followers coming from?
judis217: Did folks get Twitter for Christmas? Burst of new followers today. Howdy all new folks, hope I don't bore you. :-)
HAHA TWITTER NOOBS. IT'S CALLED DIGG, NOT CHRISTMAS.. - colasrtney, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2Woot.com's tweets
- cyclopssmiley, on 01/05/2009, -4/+6Digg: Hating on twitter for no apparent reason since 2006.
- Mjeacoma, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2The author needs to work on his spelling and grammar. I felt this was not only a mediocre article but also written on a 7th grade reading level.
- Elranzer, on 01/05/2009, -3/+4What's with all the Twitter stories lately on Digg? Are they a new advertiser or something? Because the service sucks and is useless.
- inactive, on 01/05/2009, -6/+7***** you and your spam, jagoff.
- BeShirtHappy, on 01/04/2009, -16/+17Cool, thanks! I'm going to check out Mr. Tweet today.
- Skurt, on 01/05/2009, -1/+2I thought Twitter was about following your friends, not looking for cool people to stalk?
- Dill93, on 01/05/2009, -1/+2Cool people? But what if we want to add squares on Twitter?
- diggerpleez, on 01/05/2009, -1/+2The usual Twitter question by people who don't use Twitter is "Why would you think people would want to read what you have to say?!?"
Look at anyone's followers and the question is instantly answered. If no one is interested in what I say I have no followers. If they are, then I do. It seems like a system that works itself out just fine. - inactive, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1you are not getting it. you don't have to give a ***** about my daily activities. you joined twitter knowing that you would encounter such posts. when you signed up, twitter told you that the site is all about what you are doing. that's the bottom of it. no explanation could be any simpler than this. "What are you doing?" if you don't care, the site is not for you.
I am interested in Flash, website building, gaming rig builders, hardcore gamers and people who simply like to have fun and I have been able to find like-minded people simply and naturally by searching for keywords on Twitter instead of using third party apps. I do see twits from these people when they go to take a shower, attend a meeting etc etc. But they are like me, they like what I like and so we are like-minded people, which makes it fun for me to know what they are doing, what they are going through, and being an empathetic person, I do my best to extend my arms towards them when and if they are going through tough times. And I don't forget to share their happiness when something good happens to them and they twit about it. Isn't that one of the main points of social networking? - Jayphen, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1For the record, Autopack allows you to add yourself to the list.. so it's not necessarily 'cool people', just people who have edited the Twitter Pack wiki. I'm far from cool, and I just added myself to the list.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1okay, i don't really see any reason to be hostile towards him.
Never mind the pricks, BeShirtHappy. Feel free to check out things that are cool in life, and bury and burn the pessimists and haters - inactive, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1so do all hot women. what's your point?
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1I am following and being followed by the real Chris Phirillio
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1damn...I was looking for a system that would allow me to be notified if someone in 'everyone' section typed keywords such as "nvidia" or "portal"
Thanks
Edit: Um wtf? I went to tweetbeep.com and got this: "Update: The TweetBeep server had some very unexpected issues and is now being replaced, but with the holidays we won't be back up and running until Monday, Dec 29th. Thanks for your patience!" - bacon_skoda, on 01/05/2009, -0/+1instead of calling 911?
- geogeller, on 01/06/2009, -0/+0twitter is what it is - like in all things you get what you put into it - i fought being active on twitter for some of the reasons above - it was a little imature and lots of chatter like here too - its all a trade off - i think twitter is we the people thoughts and ruminations and incantations and pretty much what ever you want it too be - and also who youwant to be too - food for thought
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1the digg crowd is too tough to understand. I have absolutely no idea why whoever is saying he/she is loving and enjoying Twitter is getting buried.
well on second thought, I don't even know why I give a rat's ass about who thinks what about anything. I like Twitter. If you don't, don't use it. But if you hate it, you don't necessarily have to assume that whoever else uses it is a retard.
I have two gtx 280s in my gaming rig and I'm certain you do not. Does that make me a better person than you?
It just goes to show where fanboyism has taken us and how harmful it is for the society
I'm not gay (i'm straighter than an arrow) but i'm pretty sure these 'lamers and haters' voted for Prop 8. They have severe difficulty with accepting change. - CDoug03, on 01/05/2009, -3/+3Man, I wish I had this in High School....
- KrayzieKyd, on 01/05/2009, -2/+2Why didn't you check out Mr. Tweet when he was on net@night a month ago?
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1are you really this much ignorant and retarded to realize that when a plane crashes and remains anywhere near the airport's boundaries, 911 isn't needed since 24/7 ambulance and fire fighting trucks are ready on their toes at all time to respond to any and every imaginable emergencies on the ATC and pilot's command?
and are you really this much retarded to not know that pilots immediately call for emergency services upon something happens anywhere be it on ground or in the air thus making passengers or anyone else except themselves to make an emergency call totally redundant?
how old are you? 4?
Oh never mind...I take it back...I have seen 4 year old who are more educated than you - bacon_skoda, on 01/05/2009, -1/+1oh man. social networking is so screwed.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1you couldn't have said it any better than that, sir. +1
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1or the dude who txted the incident from his cellphone to Twitter moments after his plane crashed on take-off?
- visarya, on 01/05/2009, -1/+1only thing i like about twitter is that it runs on rails
- FXNGLAS, on 01/05/2009, -1/+1I thought the title read "All people on twitter are tools."
- champion, on 01/05/2009, -2/+1Another tool to find people similar to those you already follow on Twitter:
http://whoshouldifollow.com - inactive, on 02/25/2009, -2/+1who the ***** told you to use it? piss off if you have to ask that. oh but if you are a newb to the internet, here's a 10 seconds long video that will explain how to do almost anything in the world. You must check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67wa87z7gNQ&fmt ...
- konataXchan, on 01/05/2009, -2/+1I love the Twitter bashing it's fun, I'm on Twitter, MrBabyMan is on Twitter, Your mums on Twitter.
But seriously my favourite quote about twitter:
"Twitter is for pretentious people with too much time on their hands who believe that others are interested in reading things like, 'getting an oil change.' 'Just ate dinner.'
"going to take a shower.' Really? I don't give a *****. That's not communication, it's pretense. And nobody gives a ***** what you're doing unless it directly involves them. It's built solely on the idea that people are egotistical enough to imagine that others care what they're doing every minute of the day. And sorry to break it to you but nobody does. It's a trendy tech toy and nothing else."
-algaeturdalgaeturd - colasrtney, on 01/05/2009, -2/+1I came in here to say that...
I had Henry Rollins, which was later changed to "NotHenryRollins". I've got the real Leo Laporte though, he's cool right? The guy from Screensavers! Screensavers is still cool right?...oh wait. - DillingerSmooth, on 01/05/2009, -3/+1love all the new tools coming out for twitter. You can check out
http://twitterholic.com/ - ranks all the people on Twitter
tweetbeep.com - set up alerts on keywords - BallaShoes, on 01/05/2009, -3/+1http://twitter.com/DaveJMatthews
- ravendesigner, on 01/05/2009, -5/+1Pairing this with the recently submitted article on celebrities on Twitter. Real people can be far more interesting
