- GumdoMike, on 11/16/2008, -0/+14Now if they could only fix their search feature.
- lochness, on 11/16/2008, -1/+13When is the cricket bat moment ?
- SCPChop108, on 11/17/2008, -0/+10no
- HappyGamer, on 11/17/2008, -0/+7For that to truly be a "hockey stick" graph their growth would need to continue at the same rate, which would be ridiculous since they suck.
- Lososaurus, on 11/17/2008, -1/+7Hockey isn't a sport. Hockey is a form of disorderly conduct where score is kept.
- Shootfast, on 11/17/2008, -0/+5It's not the "sharing everything you do" aspect that is great, it's that with just one sms or "tweet", your status update can be sent to all your friends. So if you're having a party and all your friends are on twitter, rather than send 50 text messages, you send 1 and they all get the update via twitter's free sms'.
- zohan14, on 11/17/2008, -2/+7I don't understand all the hype about sharing what you're doing every moment of the day with the world
- drimo, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4That does not look like a hockey stick.
- Jeffler, on 11/17/2008, -1/+5Buried for crushing my hopes that the NHL may be live twittering games or something awesome
- spudsstuff, on 11/16/2008, -0/+3Isn't hockey a dangerous sport.
- splinter09, on 11/16/2008, -0/+3What about the golf club moment
- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -3/+6Twitter: Clearinghouse of self-centered, pompous tools.
Like we give a rat's ass that you're chewing your sandwich. - splinter09, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2Oh good, that really made me laugh mate...........
- darkphenox, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2well it still costs for each of those texts you send but with twitter it only counts as one for you.
- MavRevMatt, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2It's a great way to let people know of something, as Shootfast said, and also to share things that interest you with those who follow you quickly.
- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -1/+3The mistake those people make is thinking we give a *****.
- xino, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1All twitter haters should remember that they don't have to follow people that they could care less about. You can choose who you get tweets from. You could have like 5 friends that you know in real life use the service and all the junk posted on twitter would never come to them and therefore wouldn't matter. The Internet in general is very much the same way. There is a lot of worthless stuff on the Internet, but people still come online because there is enough good information and services and they also know they can stay away from websites they don't want to go to.
- MavRevMatt, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1http://twitter.com/dallasstars already does scores from games.
- CrushThemTorg, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1I noticed Friendfeed on the chart there. Is that the new home for self-absorbed jackoffs?
- cognizantkid, on 11/17/2008, -2/+3A lot of people misunderstand the purpose of Twitter. It's not so much focused solely on status (a purpose that most people use Facebook's status messages for). I prefer to think of it as more of a microblogging platform; it's a way to get short messages delivered to an audience of friends, colleagues, fans, or just a general audience. Just like blogs, these messages range from the banal ("I'm eating lunch!") to actual expressions of opinions or events that hold some importance or interest. It's also an interesting way to see into the more personal side of writers, musicians, politicians, or whoever happens to use the service, famous or not.
- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1I love Cricket.especially the Aussie team.
- UnterDenLinden, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1Yeah, maybe a warped one. Shouldn't have stored it in such a damp place.
- kr9681, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1a lot of cellphones now a days allow you to send text to multiple contacts at once also; im just saying.
either way i use twitter and i dont know any of my followers in real life - fitzfan, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1Well the blade of a hockey stick does not go on forever. The angled up part is probably about 15% of the length of the shaft of the stick if we are being technical.
- isny, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1Well, obviously. All those hockey moms.
- xino, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1I don't know exactly who you are following on twitter that posted that they are chewing their sandwich, but you are obviously interested enough in that person's twitter feed to look at it once in a while and notice that.
- Flappy3, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1fair dinkum?
- xino, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1@enjourni How do you call or text the people if don't have their phone number? How can you send one text message to more than one phone at a time without entering multiple phone numbers? How do you make a full blog post via text messaging? Twitter and services like it is the only way I know how to do that. It's nice to have a full blog entry for large topics, but when you want to post some thing that is only a sentence or 2 long, then it's better to use a microblogging platform.
@willynilly Someone could also say they don't give a ***** about your comments here on digg so are you going to stop commenting? The point is that there are people that do give a ***** about things said on twitter otherwise it wouldn't be used. - aTroll, on 11/17/2008, -0/+0jaiku ftw
- happyfab, on 03/02/2009, -0/+0Not really what i think
http://modeletatouage.info - enjourni, on 11/17/2008, -1/+1It's ego lavishment, plain and simple. If you cared enough about something you'd make a full blog post. If not, you can call or text people to find out what's up with them.
- happyfab, on 02/07/2009, -0/+0Well; ,othing
http://jeux-flashs.fr - fuzzmeister, on 11/17/2008, -2/+1IMO, they should insert text ads into the feed every 25 messages or so.
- enjourni, on 11/17/2008, -2/+1Twitter... inventing new, exciting ways to embellish your pathetic little life since 2006.
- hellophper, on 11/17/2008, -3/+0In china, twitter is not popularity,my twitter only 2 friends。I hope add more twitter friends

- inactive, on 11/16/2008, -8/+0I love Twitter!
