- theone3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Okay.. Wouldn't this just frustrate blind people even more than it frustrates sighted people?
- gamekid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2--oh, and in true Nintendo DS spirit, Touching Feels Good®.
- jizzimmy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Interesting. Too bad I can't complete a normal Rubik's Cube.
- utexaspunk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1NO DIGG- this isn't even a real product- it's just a student's design concept. and extra no digg for going through your stupid-ass blog.

knocks over coolestcow. - gfixler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is bizarre timing. I just got my first ever Rubik's Cube last week, and solved it this past weekend for the first time. Last night I was thinking about alternate ways in which the cube could be designed, and aside from something involving LEDs, I thought of one with a different texture per side for the blind, which got me thinking about how difficult it might be for the colorblind to solve a cube - maybe everything's right, but the red and green sides are a scramble? It's cool to see the idea appear the next day. And now I think a telekinetic headband that gives me the power draw objects to me from at least 5 meters away is a great idea. I expect it to make the front page tomorrow morning, and then I'm buying one.
- Darth_tater, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0doseent make it any easyier to complete. but still good for the blind or somebody who wants something new.
- gamekid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Nice job giving a link to your lame-ass blog instead of the real page.

Yes. He loses my Digg, but at least now the blind can pass some time in a waiting room, or even compete with the sight-blessed among us... - desired, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you've never completed a Rubik's cube, here is an easy solution: http://tinyurl.com/ak7ce
- retawd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0TOUCH RUBIK's Cube??? Ever had one thrown at your head for the remote control? There's your Big Brother 1984!
- shiftless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That is one fancy cube
- DigeratiPrime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome.
btw directlink http://www.yankodesign.com/product_info.php?products_id=773 - Meowmix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome! I had thought of something similar to do with my cube, by attaching rubber feet to my cube.
I want one!
My best time is 55 seconds, not that great. I'm sure someone else on digg is faster. - konkushn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+033 seconds is my fastest.. Although that was in 1984.. LOL
- theRIAA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i wish i had a blind friend to give one to....
- Netmindstorm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Kids stuff....if you really want to play with a cube, you should try the Lament Configuration. I guarantee you will find it dreadfully painful to solve.

- nlatimer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Give the gift of frustration to the visually challenged people in your life.
- dnyl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This takes away the challenge of solving the rubik's cube behind your back.
pffft - Cyberdactyl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+016.5 seconds.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJ-nSblWbQk - Cyberdactyl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LOL. . . too funny - I glued square, triangular, diagonal, etc. pieces of of wood to my cube faces in the 1970's so I could practice when I was sent to bed. A little late for this innovation.
- SteveIreland, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome idea. I'm going to make one.
- TheCount, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Neat idea. The picture of the guy holding the cube makes it look like he's being forced to solve the thing under penalty of death though. Not exactly cheerful marketing.
- jtibble, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hey guys, I can solve all of the Rubik's cubes, and this would be a sweet addition to my collection!
Hey, my record for the 3x3 is 55 seconds though, so who am I to say? - listentothis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Direct link: http://www.yankodesign.com/product_info.php?products_id=773
Don't link to blogs l337dugg. - dwhitbeck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm going to construct a Rubik's cube with polished surfaces, no textures, no colors, no patterns, no pictures. Solving it will be super fast.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Blah, crappy post.
Best Comment Award goes to: "finally! a rubik’s cube for the blind!" - retawd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0China steals from us (western europe/northa america) steal this... tell me why not...
- EyeDye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The raised symbols on each tile allow this cube to be solved blind.
