In fact, it's a scam site that makes you pay to register and install software. The original was suprnova.org, and it's now operated by The Pirate Bay. It came back last year, but doesn't really work too well considering the massive amounts of downtime.

And yes, the original suprnova is run by TPB, but at least it's still alive even if the source code has changed.
