- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Lara Croft has $1 billion and some nice *****.
- Wamzlee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was expecting Scrooge McDuck to be #1
- enumerated, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What about Dick Clark...he can't be real
- saiz66, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Where on earth did they get those numbers from?
- SaintStryfe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sorry, as I've discribed in other places posting this story: Bruce is much richer then Lex. Bruce, though WayneCorp, owns the entirity of Gotham, except for some parts he gave to the city goverment and some other such. Meanwhile, Lex is disgraced from the presidency, and Talia Al Ghul, though working with lex, is actually in control of LexCorp.
- kludwig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Forbes did this in 2002 with a slightly different list.
http://www.forbes.com/2002/09/13/400fictional.html - J_Omega, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1= Lex Luthor = net worth $10 billion
...so Mr. non-fictional Bill Gates has a net worth 5x greater than a super villian?
*shiver* - genr8r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The first person that comes to my mind is Charles Foster Kane or "Citizen Kane" I would think that he would top the list or follow in Santa's mighty shadow.
- Moose_Head, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That article was very well written.
- sunimit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The scary thing is Bill Gates has more money than Bruce Wayne, Lex Luthor, Richie Rich, and Homer's boss combined.

- modifiy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where do they get their numbers is my question...
- stalkingu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i find it hard to belive that santa has money. isnt that what the slaves ..oh i mean elf's are for.
- surgictube, on 02/19/2008, -0/+0Greed is good.
- timewaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0santas isnt rich, he MAKES everything along with his midget slaves. also MAGIC!
- theMindspring, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What about John Galt? Or Midas Mulligan?
- koheed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I knew this list was completely flawed. Mr. Deeds is worth $40 Billion, which would make him No. 2 on the list. That's some really poor research. I realize this list is just for fun, but get your facts right. I'm sure there is plenty of others that belong in the top 15.
- koheed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, looks like I didn't do my research. It is Emilio, the butler who is worth $40 billion, but that's why I'm not a professional journalist.
- essrog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have to concur with the folks who have already noted the conspicuous absence of Tony Stark on this list. I'd have to say that Stark is at least as wealthy as Bruce Wayne if not wealthier, at least in 2005. Just based on my impression, but go ahead, prove me wrong
- samwyse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I remember seeing this list a few years ago, and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had updated it. Yeah, Jeb finally made the list!
- Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0God may or may not exist. But if he does, he's not necesarily the Christian God. Whether God does or doesn't exist, Christians need to step down from the ego pedistal.
All religions worship the same God in some form and are equal in his eyes, if he exists. - zosobaggins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Leonardo Leonardo wins.
- lleger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There is a difference between rich and wealthy. These people would be considered "wealthy". duh!
- acehomey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Huh, Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor are supposed to be richer than real and fictional Bill Gates.
And Metropolis is not in Illinois, it's somewhere in the East Coast. :( - NiLeS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sigh *not wanting to get into this*
@ elranzer:
By definition, all religions cannot believe in the same God/god. If they did, we'd have a bunch of different denominations, not religions. Some religions don't even have a god, much less the same one as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc...
Meh. Santa's a bit easier to explain: he makes everything with nanotech (ie, replicators a la Star Trek). Money is no object to him. Heck, he makes it for heating purposes. That special paper formula burns great! - ek3s, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Scrooge McDuck == Pwnge
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LARA CROFT?
- heatmiser, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Richie Rich would easily be number 1 (or at least behind dear old Santa). He'd be worth trillions.
The whole point of the comic was that his dad (and by extension Rich himself) had nearly limitless wealth - numerous mansions,mega-corporations,giant safes full of watermelon sized gems, actual mountains of gold etc. - KingJeremy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I am a fictional robot overlord of the people of Zorgon! And I have $100,000,000 billion, million, trillion, zillion dollars. I now top the list. Yay me!
- oldcyborg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I am Bruce Wayne, and I want to marry Lara Croft, who looks exceedingly familiar to me.... I don't care which Bruce Wayne... As long as Lara is madly in love with him, and doens't mind Alfred.
Sigh............
Cyborg - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^^ before she had them done she had $1 billion, $5000 dollars.
- ptknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think this list is weetaded. No vote
- ej25goddess, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Scrooge McDuck is way richer than Burns, I dont care what they say.
- theatgrex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What about richie rich's dad ?
Dude must have way more money than his son! - Sub.Grandson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1My balls are rich in crabs.

- jeffreym, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0NON-LIVING MATTER DOESN'T COME FROM ANYWHERE, MORON! IT WAS ALWAYS PRESENT.
http://celestial-reasoning.blogspot.com - 8-bit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So where is Tony Stark on this list?
- vannyx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0no digg , How the hell can bruce wayne be that poor. Its batman damn it. He is richer than lex luther, wayne tech ( just wayne tech division of wayne enterprises) almost bought out lex corp
- hypershadow147, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"also i don't think santa counts, and n00bish forbes (springfield is in KY)"
What about Illinois? - Sub.Grandson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, in one of the episodes of the idiotic variety (last ten years or so) does indeed have a lighthouse in Springfield.. but is anyone really paying attention anymore?
Tweaques Kentucky:
http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Hills/7415/springfield.html - mcbesq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@tweaque
Springfield is not in Kentucky. Best guess is Oregon. Kentucky is not "as far from NY as someone can get in this country" and its radio stations do not start with K. There is also no ocean, hence no lighthouse. Plus, Springfield slopes downwards as you go west (towards the shore) -
