I don't know about that... - djblast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16The hard drive table is kick ass.
- as2003, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12BOUNCY CASTLES!!!
- atrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7the lamp is cool, and not hard to make... you can go and collect a pile of free AOL CDs -> Not only does it help you make a lamp, but your helping humanity by preventing inocent people from getting them. I think I'll make one.
The platter table is awsome, but not worth it for the price it would cost to build... Neat though. - DellMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6What would be cool is a hard drive desk with multiple platters.
- cyrix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I agree. Looking at that table really puts into perspective just how far we've come since then. I wonder if there's any data on it though?
- MonkeyjoeBla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5You can do that sir. There's a drop down menu just above the first comment. Click on it and select "sort by most diggs". It'll order them exactly the way you want.
- tommythetomcat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4So i wonder which side wins on the ping pong clock
- CubeFarmDrone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That's not a boner, just wishfull thinking on your part.
- d03boy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3One time I installed AOL just so I could use its free trial to download Netzero... it was the only time that it was more useful than as a frisbee.
- Jams, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Dont spam your links on digg. Please, bury this guy.
- Linkage155, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The pong sounds cool, from what I could make out (without seeing video), it's a computer vs. computer that someone wins every minute and it adds + 1 to the minute until the left player won 60 times, and then the rigth player wins 1 (adds 1 hour) ? -- or I got the mixed up, anyways, great concept :)
- Splitt3rxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I feel sorry for those poor people who actually put one in thier computer:(
- dragulaaeop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Why not? The not everyone knows what a HD platter looks like, and those that don't will think the table is Modernistic (looks like something that could be found in a loft in New York/San Francisco). As long as you dont say "Yeah, this is like a piece of technological history. It USED to be used to store data for the... blah blah blah..." now you have just talked yourself out of a relationship.
~Aeop - DrAtheist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The one on the right, presumably, as that one can get 59, the one on the left is limited to a top score of 23...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The guy in the Inflatable Massage Chair looks like hes got a boner! Is it THAT good?!
- RobSaint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You can see exactly how it works when you download the free pong clock screen saver.
- Oakii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Has anyone bought the eplant before?
- SystemError, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I am going to make one, but i will use aluminum not wood.
- abates1337, on 04/03/2009, -0/+1I want the shower tablet... :D
- Jams, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@djblast
The hard drive table is kick ass.
Just dont bring any women back for a romantic meal; actually I wonder if anyone has ever made love over a 1960s hard disk platter? - gsmithEIDW, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Marks & Spencers are already providing packaging on their food products in the UK & Ireland ready for scanning by Smart Ovens
- lilazndrumrboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i'm sorry, i had that wrong too..........the left side wins every hour, and the right side wins every minute...........and after downloading the screensaver, i have noticed that it's in 24-hour time default, so after 23, the left goes back to 0.........yep, sry for the confusion........
- bloqmon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The game goes on continuously and I think when it comes time for the minutes or hours to increase then that side wins.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sign me up for the CD lamp, the Pong clock and the Washer/Dryer/Ironing machine.
- shmatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1just reported him.
- lilazndrumrboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yea, you're on the right track........the left wins every minute, and resets after reaching 59, wheras the right wins every hour, and it goes up to 12 or 23 based upon whether its on a 24-hour or 12-hour system.......and i agree, i mite wanna take an old laptop and turn it into something like this........
- burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I tried that... most of the comments are in reply to other comments, so it really screws things up.
- japer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That airshower may be one of a kind, but it looks just like what I just went through at the airport. The TSA is testing the same type of device. It shoots air at you from a bunch of different directions, then 'sniffs' the results to see if you have any b*mb-making residue on you...
- GuyOnOatmealBox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the link is lying, you can't buy the massage chair at that website
- Killerah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Same here! That thing is pretty sweet looking, I think I'll make one eventually. It certianly makes this article worth the digg.
- lilazndrumrboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i dont even think it goes to 23.........tho i'm sure there's an option for 24-hour, it prolly goes to 12, based on 12-hour time...........
- CutthroatMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's kinda strange, I was just talking about the washing, drying, ironing machine with my roomy the other day, we thought it would be the coolest thing ever... didn't think there already was one.
- Jozer99, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6This article is not accurate. You can't buy many of these gadgets. For instance, the hard drive table was something that a guy actually made himself out of a hard drive, the lap was homemade, and the airshower is one of a kind.
- CutthroatMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Been there done that! LOL
- derekbez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The washing/ironing machine has got to be a bonus, if you can afford it. Except it looks the size of a small London flat. Damn.
- kenvibe, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3I think comments should be "dugg" to the top of the page as well. Then stupid comments would move to the bottom. I alwasy seem to get curious and look at mass buried comments.
