googlesightseeing.com — You've all seen the original Topless Sunbather already, but did you know that the Hague is in fact completely overrun with naked and semi-naked Dutch men and women? Yes people, it ’s time to get your magnifying glasses out, because here comes the Top 10 Naked People on Google Earth!
- 1616 diggs
- digg it
- Dog_Paddle, on 10/12/2007, -122/+5Google could get sued for this right? Not cool.
- killerofkiller, on 10/12/2007, -48/+9 i guess this could spawn a new age of hi-tech voyeurism
- rofflcopterr, on 10/12/2007, -5/+24as soon as you can identify them by those pictures...
- feralkid, on 10/12/2007, -16/+74@Dog_Paddle
You're from the USA huh? Immediately, think of the possible litigation!! - TopherT, on 10/12/2007, -9/+33What do you mean, that people should sue google for posting nude photos of them or that they should be sued for contributing to the delinquency of minors and public indecency.
God this country is stupid. - sdoownek, on 10/12/2007, -6/+28Sued for.....what, exactly?
Sometimes, I tire of digg because of dealing with like you. - BigManOnCampus, on 10/12/2007, -4/+26Google? Sued? ahahahahaha... Silly digger... Google didn't take the pictures.
- RadiatedAnt, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5time to whip out the magnifying glasses? how about whipping out a real server it already kaiboshed itself
- dontlookdown, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7Guys, I'm pretty sure he's just saying that Google COULD get sued for this because of all the stupid law suits in the US (yes, I'm from the US as well), he's not saying they should (and no i don't think they could but that is merely what he is saying). So I don't think you should be instantly ridiculing him for his post.
But weird lawsuits like that CAN happen. - TheReport, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5"i guess this could spawn a new age of hi-tech voyeurism"
Yeah if you enjoy trying to make out a pixelated boob then yes. - foobar5892, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I would have never thought that it would come to this. A map service that's NSFW. The universe is about to implode.
- SimonDonkers, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9You all seem to be forgetting that these are Dutch people on the photo's. Not American people. The worst that could happen is that somebody could recognize the location and make a joke about seeing a person in the neighborhood of there house which might perhaps have been female which might have been topless at some point in history.
That doesn't mean the Dutch are going to sue Google about this. We are just going to make a few lame jokes at parties and move on with our lives.
Note: I'm Dutch
Note2: I'm not on these photo's - RickySan65, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11"That doesn't mean the Dutch are going to sue Google about this. We are just going to make a few lame jokes at parties and move on with our lives."
Finally someone who gets it ;) There is no "sue your ass off" culture in the Netherlands, and sunbathing is perfectly normal and legal. It still puzzles me that in the states you can buy guns, violence is normal but the whole nation gets their ***** in knot when there's a spot of nudity.. - Anrkist, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2You know what really puzzles me? Dutch people who can't keep thier clothes on for more then 5 seconds!
- LogicBomB, on 10/12/2007, -1/+71. Nudity is no big deal - realy.
2. Don't want naked pictures of you to show up online? Don't go outside naked. - zongamin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1cretin
- Dog_Paddle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow I got dugg down to hell.
I was just asking wether or not they could get sued for this, I guess I should've worded it differently.
And as some people pointed out, it's as much as Google's fault for providing naked pictures without their permissions, as much as it's Torrentspy's fault for giving us free porn. I must've been pretty tired when I posted that comment :P
- mikefitz2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+31http://duggmirror.com/tech_news/Top_10_Naked_People_on_Google_Earth/
- jalenack, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Great title!
- jonvdveen, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16Who spends their time looking for these things? Seriously! My aunt (in Holland) may just be one of the pictured people. However, I'm not too keen to find out for sure.
- fubes2000, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I think it'd be entirely futile to sit on GE looking for naked people or other weird phenomena. [but that doesn't mean people don't do it xD]
I'd wager most of the discoveries are people checking out their neighbourhood who stumble onto something amazing and share it with the world.
Also, I think there are 7 pixels in #4 that positively identify the person as your aunt. :D - Drunkenfool, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4who cares about finding these things. if you really want to 'see' nude sunbathers, just look up some nudist colonies or nude beaches.
- jeranon, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3is your aunt hot? *rawr* naked aunty flesh...
- fubes2000, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I think it'd be entirely futile to sit on GE looking for naked people or other weird phenomena. [but that doesn't mean people don't do it xD]
- SineNomen, on 10/12/2007, -5/+32Worst. Nudity. Evar.
C'mon. you can barely tell they're naked, it may be "fun" to find someone, but once you do, big friggin' deal.- jonvdveen, on 10/12/2007, -59/+14Learn. How. To. Spell.
It's "Ever." - floridiot, on 10/12/2007, -5/+22http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=evar
- LenzM, on 10/12/2007, -14/+5@jonvdveen
Dude, stfu, your so ... liek ... ghey. He nows how to speil 'ever', hes mockin those valley bitches. - jeffness, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4ah, the lovely living language that is english. :)
- jonvdveen, on 10/12/2007, -59/+14Learn. How. To. Spell.
- suprememilo, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4This is probably another reason the government won't let global earth get better cameras lol.
- Aliarse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I'm sure the government has MUCH better cameras then any of the company's producing the Google images have.
Meaning, its ok for them to spy on us, but spying on them is a big no-no.
- Aliarse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I'm sure the government has MUCH better cameras then any of the company's producing the Google images have.
- anotherjeff, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4The title for this totally caught my eye.
- mijoja, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0i think that was the point
- Tiak, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4Hits the front page, and instantly down... NICE.
- JWallsID6999, on 10/12/2007, -6/+19Bet Paris Hilton's out there somewhere...
- Eliminator, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8I doubt you would be able to see her anorexic ass. . . err front.
- ohcanada, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5I found her naked!
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=paris+hilton+sex+tape - fatherspud, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Better yet, where isn't she naked.
- aschapm, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15i don't think it counts as nudity if you can't even tell the freaking gender.
- dstywho, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1"lying on her front"
what is that suppose to mean?- DoorFrame, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Lying on her stomach, as opposed to lying on her back. Why was it confusing?
- daxsymbiont, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3where the fk is our privacy.
at least they are low res.- sxtxixtxcxh, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3your privacy does not extend beyond reason.
- daxsymbiont, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4it's unreasonable wanting to be naked on your roof without the whole internet viewing?
i guess it's hard to get a date nowadays. - sxtxixtxcxh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2it's unreasonable to be naked OUTSIDE and expect privacy.
- Systematic1, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2The saddest part is, I bet some pathetic ***** are going to try to get off to this, or search for new people on Google Earth to get off to.
- Adriano, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Maybe not.
- MrTea, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Oh yeah, show me those pixels! *fap* *fap* *fap*
- Damion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I don't see anything wrong with this. After all there outside in a heavy residential area. it's not as if they couldn't be seen at all.
- blurrie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2blah
- Dunce, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Trust you guys to find this article...some people have too much spare time!
I feel like sunbathing on my roof...- zerodotcom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2whats your latitude and longitude ?
- zeno60, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2All the technology, advances in HD, bandwidth, speed, etc. to google at pixelated buttcheeks on earth ... ironic?
- brantw, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1These people suck Donkey Balls
- Dhalgren, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Has no one found any naked people on Microsoft's local.live.com under bird's eye view? Those are high-res fly-by pics, and would be much more interesting to look at. You may even be able to tell sex...
- Paulstar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I live in Scheveningen (beach of The Hague), and like 50% of the women walk topless on the beach. That's normal and nog big deal. Besides that, most people on those pictures are naked in there own balcony, so who cares.
- MrSunshine, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6> so who cares
The prude US people do apparently. - crashflow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4i too like 50% of women who walk topless. maybe even more.
- mcduarte2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I live in Portugal and topless is quite normal around here also... So, what's special about this? At least they could have tried to get pictures from naturist beaches...
- MrSunshine, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6> so who cares
- Pushkin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Wanted to digg the title and digg down for inaccuracy - so no digg
Perhaps if google could install the sims de-pixillator ;)
I wonder if the sat-voyeurs know about live cam and the nude beach at Scheveningen - khyberkitsune, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0What's REALLY funny is I just tried accessing the page - no dice. Auto-refresh ten times at 30 second intervals - still down.
Did Google, OF ALL THINGS, just get Digged under?- jamesspelt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Um... it's not Google
- brotherfranciz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You can't even tell if the naked person is a male or a female...
- evand22, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1yeah. that is weird. you can see everything on this one. http://digg.com/offbeat_news/Internet_Hitchhikers_hit_50_states_in_50_days
- TheBigShovel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2We need to point that hubble thing at earth .
- drilldown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I must admit, there are apparently far more interesting things under skirts than overhead. Until one of them bumps off the Earth whilst one looks up a skirt. It is fun in the meantime, though.
- 2shae, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Great I am Dutch and I live in The Hague !!!
Nice to know you Americans are spying on us :P - Gronkk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Why are you picking on us poor Dutch people?
Isn't there a global top 10 or something? or is it that easy to spot the Dutch?
G - drilldown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Awww come-on, I don't believe you. The bandy rooftop dead right center top wasn't it?
Looked like a chimney hanging off of ya! Unless it was a chimney, in which case apologies. You could stoke it a few times just to let people know for sure :) - bass0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1FYI, the Hague happens to be one of the few places on Google Earth with the best resolution (they've used aerial photos), that's all.
- Kallius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Uh huh. Checked out some of these pics. Can't see a freaking thing. Buried for rtardness.
- thomashallock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's a scam. There's only nine naked people; the last one is a "do you have a better one?".
- jejones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3<div serious="no">Gee, Google should get the image manipulation software they use on CSI. Then those sunbathers would have something to worry about!</div>
- Hassassin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1What ever happened to or right to privacy? If you think for one second this is the best they can do with a satellite then your are sadly mistaken. Then can zoom in and read the numbers off our credit card if we had it out... They can peer through our windows and in to our lives... We are no more free then a rat in a cage.
- JCGV, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0unless you wear an aluminum hat, that would reflect the sunbeams into the lens.
- lamestory, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1the dork who has this blog should get sued by google for TM infringement and for posting LAME crap.
- NegroSuave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Google only has trademars for the locating software... maps of the earth however are usually free.
- lamestory, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1its TM infringement when you name your lame little fan-boy blog "googleXXXX". dude needs to get a life.
- NegroSuave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Google only has trademars for the locating software... maps of the earth however are usually free.
- iamdexter, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You people got a lot of time to find such things on Goog.
