- HaloZero, on 12/30/2007, -5/+230I still miss Demonoid :(. The other's just aren't good enough for comics and less popular TV shows.
- insomniac8400, on 12/30/2007, -7/+96Good to know none of the torrent sites I use are on that list.
- loveddevol, on 12/30/2007, -1/+70sumotorrent?
i always thought it was a trap site. - Llanowar, on 12/30/2007, -2/+60[compulsory complaint about Alexa rankings]
- Carburetor, on 12/30/2007, -1/+44Most of these sites share the same trackers..
- iggy2012, on 12/30/2007, -5/+46I agree. Please oh please bring demonoid back.
- 3210, on 12/30/2007, -3/+34I was surprised to see that IsoHunt was still the second most popular torrent website, when it had to restrict access to its tracker from U.S. IPs, especially after this same decision caused a large decrease in TorrentSpy's traffic.
I am also surprised that The Pirate Bay is so far behind Mininova's rank, when it seems that it is The Pirate Bay is actually more popular than Mininova. It seems like Mininova has a reputation for being a pretty good public torrent website, and so they can maintain a high traffic amount despite not obtaining the media coverage that The Pirate Bay has. - kazamx, on 12/30/2007, -0/+30oink? Being a private site doesn't save you at all.
- Tr33fiddy, on 12/30/2007, -2/+30Jesus. Diggers should club together and buy this guy a friend to talk to.
- mikal, on 12/30/2007, -1/+28Sumotorrent is crap, full of ads and spamming search engines. Still, it is mentioned quite often on Torrentfreak. Me thinks Ernesto is either affiliated with the site, or receiving money for promoting it.
- kazamx, on 12/30/2007, -3/+30Yup, because being locked up sure saved oink.
- scabbers, on 12/30/2007, -2/+28Yeah cos people who use bittorrent really have the Alexa toolbar installed...
- passedoutghost, on 12/30/2007, -4/+26ummm....wtf?
- whazup911, on 12/30/2007, -11/+33a truly great torrent site is one that never appears on these gay top 10 lists. Guess who the RIAA(***** the RIAA) will go after next?
- mcfly1204, on 12/30/2007, -2/+18Should this be titled as the top 10 public sites? Most of these sites b-low.
- condormcs, on 12/30/2007, -5/+20you sir, are a menace to society!
- spyd3rweb, on 12/30/2007, -6/+20Now by posting this like a ***** moron its going to be the "Top 10 Most Raided By The MPAA Torrent Sites of 2007"
Rules 1 & 2 - PixelEater, on 12/30/2007, -4/+17Not exactly Demonoids, are they?
- renegadeafk, on 12/30/2007, -1/+13I've been downloading stuff from isohunt fine and reaching the site fine in the U.S. am I missing something here?
- Daniel591992, on 12/30/2007, -1/+13Yeah, because the MPAA has never heard of Pirate Bay before...
- Stalks, on 12/30/2007, -1/+12Isn't mininova an indexing search engine? Thats like blaming google because a web site as part of the search results is slow.
- hipnerd, on 12/30/2007, -2/+12By all means, make your decisions based on unfounded rumors and paranoia. That's a great strategy. Wait a second, President Bush? Is that you?
- Lassan, on 12/30/2007, -1/+11You can change the language to English, you know..
It's one of the links at the bottom of the site. - fartbuttes, on 12/30/2007, -5/+14Have fun on your private tracker with 10 people.
- inactive, on 12/30/2007, -2/+10Not really accurate, it goes by Alexa rank, and that only counts users that have the Alexa toolbar installed.
- FUR10N, on 12/30/2007, -2/+10I wish when someone would make a top ten list that they would start with number 10 not number 1. Everyone knows that.
- inactive, on 12/30/2007, -2/+10Public sites are good for finding old or hard to find torrents, but private sites are so much better for download speeds and quick releases.
- Makaveli604, on 12/30/2007, -2/+9You sound like a 10 year old writing an essay.
- tjlsmith, on 12/30/2007, -1/+8I'm still looking for a good book torrent site to replace Demonoid. Any ideas, anyone?
- flamingmb, on 12/30/2007, -1/+8wow, shamelessly trying to drive traffic to get ad money from spymac. You sir, are a douche bag of the highest degree.
- minimanjapan, on 12/30/2007, -2/+8Does anyone remember the old suprnova? Those were such great times :(
- andburn1, on 12/30/2007, -2/+8Hahahahahaha oh, some people.
- DJPRIME90, on 12/30/2007, -2/+8I miss being able to go to Demonoid so much :(
I could find everything I would ever need on there... - cybersix, on 12/30/2007, -2/+8Demonoid is actually my favorite, followed by BTjunkie and mininova
- joe-ball, on 12/30/2007, -1/+6I just use Bit Che. I've used it for the last 2 years and have never needed to go to a specific torrent site. Only a couple from the top 10 are not in its search.
- osbjmg, on 12/30/2007, -0/+4just make sure you don't use U.S. based torrent sites.
- andburn1, on 12/30/2007, -0/+4Psh, oink wasn't really private. There were invites flying all over the place.
- Christbait, on 12/30/2007, -2/+62007's top 10 will become 2008's most wanted by the RIAA.
- felchdonkey, on 12/30/2007, -0/+4I don't think using a foreign site will save you if you yourself are in the U.S.
- avatarpalin, on 12/30/2007, -2/+6No listen the guy has a point. We SHOULD go out and get pissed on New Years!!
Wow what a perspective.... !!! - inactive, on 12/30/2007, -1/+4really, what dumbass would install the alexa toolbar?
- jeff303, on 12/30/2007, -1/+3I wouldn't call tvtorrents.com "little known", but yeah it is great.
- mishaco, on 12/30/2007, -1/+3i miss oink .
- inactive, on 12/30/2007, -1/+3really/ i didn't know about the toolbar part.
- icsbase, on 12/30/2007, -0/+2Alexa ranking cannot be trusted. Alexa is considered as spyware on most antivirus softwares and registry cleaners.
- legoman31245, on 12/30/2007, -1/+3you can still use isohunt as a torrent search engine in the US but you can't download torrents made by isohunt.
- allyant, on 12/30/2007, -2/+4I thought you have to pay for usenet? Would that not defeat the point in piracy...
- JDove6, on 12/30/2007, -2/+4I'm a btjunkie
