- jwbrint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Comcast just switched over to Time Warner here in Dallas as of August 1, 2006. So they are not leaving Texas as the title suggests.
- Nougat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I can never quite figure out why Comcast is always "dreaded." I've had some trouble with their account services when I was moving - that was very irritating - but once the service is in and installed, there's never a problem. In fact, in Chicagoland, when Comcast took over from AT&T Broadband, they upgraded infrastructure everywhere. In new construction, according to our builder, they're far quicker and easier to deal with than the other utilities (phone, electric, gas).
Isn't Time/Warner the one who's together with AOL? That's something greater to dread, IMHO.
