- juneof44, on 10/12/2007, -4/+129From the listing: "She gets back from a business trip Thursday night and I'm going to egg her on again and ask her to actually write a contract (it's an oral contract right now). If I can get this, I'll scan it in and post it here to prove to you guys what's up."
Oral contract... ha ha ha - gsmolders, on 10/12/2007, -4/+125"WTF is "b*** **b"?"
Boob Job, of course. - l0th, on 10/12/2007, -3/+109why the hell would you go through all this trouble just to get a bath tub from your wife? You're sick, you know that right?
- Porchman, on 10/12/2007, -4/+84No. Really. It's for charity.
- sgtkillmore, on 10/12/2007, -3/+69The "stupidist" submitter ever
- Derrekito, on 10/12/2007, -7/+71CURRENT BID = $1,025.00
WTF?
On Sep-14-06 at 19:29:28 PDT, seller added the following information:
ok, now we're getting somewhere. I egged her on tonight by saying that I wanted to use this bag again for my travel through work. She started talking trash about it and how noone would ever buy it. So I got her to say that she'd give me a b*** **b for each dollar that I was able to sell it for. Help a brother out! - Jacob, on 10/12/2007, -6/+64@riplikethat
You aren't alone I'm sure 90% of the people on digg are in the boat with you. - guitarromantic, on 10/12/2007, -5/+59... "STUPIDIST"? Ohhh, the ironing!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+57Celiac disease is NOT stupid. Get a life and also a sense of humor and decency.
- riplikethat, on 10/12/2007, -10/+45@juneof44
Ahh ok, I get it now. Sorry, I am still a virgin.. *confused pure soul* - juneof44, on 10/12/2007, -7/+40@riplikethat
Please be joking. The asterisked characters are "low jo" Do you need more help than that? - rolfeman02, on 10/12/2007, -0/+31Are you older than 13?
- TimDub, on 10/12/2007, -2/+32stupid? this is eBay comedy gold! best. auction. ever.
- WillieLove, on 10/12/2007, -2/+29I must be losing my edge...I presumed he was lining up thousands of BACK RUBS. Sheesh -- I used to be so dirty-minded, too...
- Porchman, on 10/12/2007, -8/+31"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh!"
- tsupersonic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25Well, if it's for charity, I can understand. The money is for a good cause.
Way to spell "Stupid" submitter - eadnams, on 10/12/2007, -3/+26Dugg because of the charity, I have celiac family members.Funny how things can just take off like this on the internet... what an age we live in :)
- pointblank187, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22Top bidder right now is co-owner of MajorGeeks.com. Not like it's some average 12 year old using their dad's eBay account.
http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=102328 - SuckMyDigg, on 10/12/2007, -17/+39It's funny when people don't get that someone else is joking and make an ass out of themselves trying to explain something. The best part is they don't know they're being funny by being stupid thinking someone else is stupid when they're obviously just joking.
- Arkonnan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Man, that's a lot of blowjobs.
- rocke86, on 10/12/2007, -7/+24http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celiac
In case you want to learn more about the disease, Knowledge is Power! - lazyguy, on 10/12/2007, -5/+21not ALL ;p
- Catch_ME, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Its kinda nice because he will donate all profit.
- GuitaristTom, on 10/12/2007, -5/+20no, i kind of agree... hes getting married, so the sex will stop after like 3 years no matter what he has signed, so it would be smart to utilize the situation to get something else... like for each dollar, she has to make him a sandwich
- kweee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16It's a shame this auction will be pulled because he didn't comply with eBay's rules on charity auctions.
He's also misleading the buyer into thinking he or she will be able to take a tax deduction on this; you can't deduct a charity donation if you receive something in return. - effward, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13My uncle has Celiac disease, but he didn't find out till he was in his 40's, so he was living all his life with it. Almost every meal he ate gave him horrible pain, and he didn't know why, and he did not have the energy to do very much. Now that he knows he has celiac disease, he has been running marathons.
I think it is great that someone is willing to donate money that they won on ebay to charity. - cm32438, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11"And I doubt that he would ever be able to enforce it!"
You might be surprised how well a written contract can hold up in court. I'm sure he could at least get monetary compensation for any remaining 'payments'. They could even conduct a survey to determine the value of said payments, by querying the local brothels...
What a great country we live in... - nbritz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Premise 3 - Ignorance is Bliss
- Bokista, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Yeah, eBay has very specific rules about charity auctions. You have to use their program and can't advertise anything else. http://givingworks.ebay.com/sell/
- kalleanka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8"sex will stop after like 3 years no matter what"
Yeah that might be true, but if he gets 1000 blowjobs it means he will have one EVERY DAY for the first three years of his marriage!
Can you just imagine how lucky that guy gonna be? - tavisjohn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9And I doubt that he would ever be able to enforce it! And if they got a devorce before she "Paid Up" I seriously doubt that there is a judge on the planet that would tell her that she still had to preform them till she "Pays Up".
- benw5483, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9way to ***** up the headline of a submission. i can't find a way to describe the stupidity of someone spelling stupidest wrong.
- CritCol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8This is the first blog as eBay auction I've ever seen and I have to admit, it's pretty slick way to do the deed.
- imikedaman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7My sister has celiac disease. I'd be willing to bid on that auction if the price wasn't so high already.
- kcasper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Yes, he can pay shipping. It is an option for the seller to pay the shipping.
- FRAGaLOT, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Hahaha he claims toothpaste stains.. . yeah!
- l0th, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9no, no, as I said above, they are bath tubs. The $1,025 he's making out of the auction right now won't pay for the warehouse to fit them all. It is indeed the stupidest auction on ebay because it will end up costing the seller way more money than what he'll get out of it...
- mohrr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6If asked to by the donator, UMD will most certainly confirm or deny the contribution to anyone who asks. Besides, it's the bidder who must make the donation directly.
- betterth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6If he donates the cash after the transaction than it's perfectly fine -- Ebay has no control over what he does with his winnings after the fact.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5" Q: I just wanted to let you know that your auction is being linked to www.majorgeeks.com, and who knows who else, congrats on the workouts, and the charity.
Sep-21-06
A: Is that a website for sissies?"
Wow, he called his highest bidder a "website for sissies" before they bid $1025 on the item.. - askvictor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Wow - 1025 back rubs. You lucky bastard
- Hurricane, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I have Celiac disease, didn't know it until just recently, it caused me untold troubles throughout my life, this is a serious debilitating and quite common disorder.
As many as 1 in 133 people have it, thats 2 million+ people in the US alone. - mcfo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4No, they're not. I know most of the guys bidding and the bids are genuine.
- parker1105, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Perhaps "stupidist" is a little know noun. One proficient in the ways of stupidity. For example: Drig is an accomplished stupidist.
- iKato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Add Keith Olbermann to list of people with Celiac. He's donated quite a bit to one charity in particular dedicated to fighting this disease, IIRC.
- *blu*, on 10/12/2007, -7/+11I'm calling BS on this due to the following statement:
"CRAP.My parents just found this auction through my blabber-mouth brother.... I don't want to sully their pristine image of their soon-to-be daughter-in-law by explaining the 'mechanics' of this transaction. What am I going to tell them?? CRAP"
Um, if this actually happened why would you be posting that about it ON THE AUCTION ITSELF? This doesn't make sense to me. I call BS. - kuchino, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8i will try get this featured on the "Tonight Show With Jay Leno"
- Player0ne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Shes gonna have one hell of a case of ***** suckers cramp
- cm32438, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Would you really want HIM donating those other payments though? Maybe just let his fiancee give them directly to charity, like the winning bidder is supposed to do with the money.
- chix0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3this wouldn't be so popular if the Beejay topic wasn't entwined.
perverts. :P -
