- fastidious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No, Sealand has always had to be at least moderately careful about what type of content they allow because they still need to get peering links in order to have a net connection.
It is theoretically possible that the MPAA could exert enough pressure on the peering links to get them to no longer carry data from Sealand -- not that the MPAA will necessarily be able to succeed (it will surely attempt to do so, anyways), but it's something to consider. If TPB is concentrated solely in Sealand (as opposed to a huge country like Sweden with a bunch of ISPs), it would be a lot easier to work towards shutting down their net access. - vhtrading, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Dupe.
