- Dmitrik, on 12/01/2007, -6/+69It looks more like another publicity stunt to me.
- SniperZero, on 12/01/2007, -4/+53When will people ***** understand.. TPB don't host the files. Google the fkn thing with .torrent in the search and I'm sure there are many other sites that have the .TORRENT file >_>. Its always the people that know ***** all about computers wanting to sue these days >_>.
- fadeout, on 12/01/2007, -0/+39I am waiting for the audiobook read by Gilbert Godfried.
- gta3mobster, on 12/01/2007, -4/+41BTW, it's not like I'm going to be reading it... Just seeding it! Remember: We're just keeping the tubes clean and unplugged. It's just a zip file too - I don't know what's in it.
Stupid ***** and their lawsuits. - latrosicarius, on 12/01/2007, -3/+33Sweden FTW
- bratterscain, on 12/01/2007, -2/+28I would not give a ***** about this torrent otherwise, but I love doing so out of spite for people who hate on PB. ***** you, Goldman. Pass the torrents!
- davidlow, on 12/01/2007, -4/+26Yeah, suing The Pirate Bay for anything related to content is like suing Time Warner Cable for letting people watch Fox news.
- amrush4th, on 12/01/2007, -7/+23THEY ARE MAKING MONEY OFF PEOPLE GETTING KILLED. sorry had to get that out. I don't get how this is allowed. Sorry my comment had nothing to do with pirate bay, but this book has always bothered me so much.
- Chompy, on 12/01/2007, -5/+21I had some respect for Goldman when it seemed like he was just interested in punishing the guy who killed his son. Now it seems fairly obvious that he's more interested in raping his son's cold corpse for cash money. Scumbag.
- xaxxon, on 12/01/2007, -3/+18ATTENTION FRED GOLDMAN: THE PIRATE BAY DOES NOT HAVE YOUR BOOK. IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY BOOKS. IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY MUSIC. YOU ARE AN ASS.
THE ONLY COPYRIGHTED CONTENT ON TPB BELONGS TO TPB. - fightforyou, on 12/01/2007, -2/+14LEAVE PIRATE BAY ALONE!
- Drahkar, on 12/01/2007, -1/+13Most people in the United States these days don't have a clue. They forget that the world doesn't revolve around our laws and no matter how litigious our country has become and how royally screwed up the system has become to allow people to sue each other for the dumbest things does not mean the whole world is like that.
This guy will spend a lot of money on an international lawyer and then walk away empty handed. And I'll laugh. Because stupid people deserve nothing but contempt. Why? Because there are too many of them and they are putting laws into effect that make life less enjoyable for the rest of us because they are too stupid to be able to cope with anything without someone telling them how. - TheRealToma, on 12/01/2007, -4/+14Didnt they authorise the book to be released after they attained copyright over it? How very noble.
- rumorsofdemise, on 12/01/2007, -1/+10well, for starters, it'd be unconstitutional for the courts to retry him.
you really don't understand the legal system. - OswaldKenobi, on 12/01/2007, -1/+9More and more, I despise Fred Goldman. I don't feel bad for his loss. He has tried to profit at every avenue off of his son's death. Nothing but a money grubbing *****.
- PixelD, on 12/01/2007, -0/+7Did you even read the article (or even the title/description at the top of this page) or was that just a natural reaction to anytime you heard the word O.J.?
- ChrisB187, on 12/01/2007, -2/+8Why do people in the United States continual believe that U.S. law applies to everywhere in the world?
Just think if we could work that one backwards, I can legally posses/smoke pot because it is legal in another country.
Sometimes it is better not saying a word than having it appear on DIGG and be a thousand times more popular. - DriftAway, on 12/01/2007, -0/+6Dude they made like three movies about 9/11.
- DontGiveADamn, on 12/01/2007, -1/+6Well there's the answer. They are not hosting the file, they just have a torrent. That means that they are saying that the guy over there has the file. It would be like somebody that wants to rob a bank asks you where the bank is. You tell them and the next thing you know you are being arrested for aiding and abetting.
- adikt, on 12/01/2007, -0/+5http://rapidshare.com/files/73475169/iftheglovefit ...
encrypted zip password: ididit - scruffles, on 12/01/2007, -0/+5They've made one or two about World War II as well.
- norman619, on 12/01/2007, -1/+6These people haven't a clue.
- Riffraffs, on 12/01/2007, -0/+5Streisand effect too, i never heard of the book, never wanted to, but now I'm going to.
- chubbybubba, on 12/01/2007, -1/+6I'm no OJ fan but Fred Goldman is a is a freakin weirdo. That guy seriously needs to shave off that growth on his upper lip. He's got that whole child molester/perv vibe going.
- Marijuana, on 12/01/2007, -5/+10"The MPAA and RIAA can't even touch the piratebay, and they're giant international corporate machines."
Fixed. - adikt, on 12/01/2007, -0/+4I met Ron Goldman back in the day. He was kinda rude and wouldn't talk to me. Could've been the 37 knife wounds that were distracting him though.
- g2g079, on 12/01/2007, -1/+5We all wasted too much time hearing about the OJ trial in the 90's. No one was complaining about the news making money off the trial and yet we never were told how it went down. The the reason The Pirate Bay is not going to delete this isn't for the money but for their own personal values and promise to allow all information to be shared. We deserve to know what happened. Ron Goldman is the only one trying to make a buck off this book with whatever publicity he can get.
- inactive, on 12/01/2007, -4/+8Suing against anything with the piracy community is like fighting against a neverending army.
- latrosicarius, on 12/01/2007, -6/+10idiots don't know what the hell bittorrent even is. should gtfo my internets
- JudgeMonkey, on 12/01/2007, -0/+3They're providing the link. Personally I don't care. OJ is an idiot and so is Fred Goldman. The facts are though that by going to the site and clicking a link, you soon have the content. There is nothing more to understand.
- obxjdt, on 12/01/2007, -1/+4This Goldman guy is a sick person, and seems to have a strange relationship with his daughter. I mean look at it. Every time you see him and his daughter together, their holding hands like a couple. I have 3 daughters ages 10-18-20 and I don't hold hands with them or my wife like that. Did OJ kill his son? Looks bad for OJ. But come on, isn't there a time that you move on? Looks to me like he's more worried about the money than the loss of his son. Shouldn't it be more about getting the book out to as many people as possible rather than the money?
To miss and morn your child is one thing, but to spend every waking moment trying to get money for it is kind of creepy. Personally, I'm tired of listening to this guy whine about the verdict, and think OJ should sue him for slander.
I'm not saying OJ didn't kill 2 people, just that he was acquitted of the murder charges, and has a slander case against Goldman for the things that he says about OJ. - SniperZero, on 12/01/2007, -2/+5NOT DOWNLOADING.... because downloading it doesn't damage their sales remember. They think it does but it doesn't. Not going to waste my bandwidth on something stupid :)
- g2g079, on 12/01/2007, -1/+4Sorry, I tried to fix my mistake but it was too late so I said ***** it. My bad.
- crestfall, on 12/01/2007, -0/+3I don't think so - double jeopardy - which is why they won't try big cases until they're sure they've got all the best evidence. I could be wring too though.
- aznhomig, on 12/01/2007, -1/+4Suing the Pirate Bay over files that infringe upon copyright? Wow, what a surprise. This guy must be really dense to think he's somehow special in the already long line of MPAA, RIAA, and IFPI goons that want the Pirate Bay's head.
- ZenMojo, on 12/01/2007, -0/+3I love the American judicial system. Guilty until proven innocent unless we really don't like you or you're a douchebag.
- rz8472, on 12/01/2007, -1/+4If the Goldmans really wanted to release "If I Did It" to show what a horrible person OJ is, then they would let this slide - or better yet - release it on the net for free themselves.
- jgtg32a, on 12/01/2007, -0/+3It's 352990 Bytes, and I doubt your ISP cares about files this small.
- rmmcclay, on 12/01/2007, -0/+3GFL - Good ***** luck. =)
- cipherscribe, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2Hey Fred, NICE MOUSTACHE! When was that popular, in 1887?
- Ryosen, on 12/01/2007, -1/+3So, by that logic, all of those watches that they sell on the street for $10 must be the genuine article because it says "Rolex" on the outside? Didn't your momma ever teach you to not judge a book by its filename?
- bshock, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2While I'm not a fan of murderers who escape justice, I'm still disgusted by the ignorance and stupidity inherent in this lawsuit. If this moron just wants to sue sites that provide access to a file without actually hosting the file, he should be suing Google and every other search engine as well.
- inactive, on 12/01/2007, -1/+3Thanks Goldman, now I know where to get it.
Now you can STFU and get over yourself.......... - cliffski, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2because countries have extradition agreements. witness the case of 3 UK bankers recently sent to the US and facing jail time for crimes committed against US companies. There is no magical reason why the same cant happen in this case.
- inactive, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2No they couldn't retry him.
He could come out and say, "Yep, I did it" and walk off 100% scott free.
Once the trial is done, there's no going back. Period. - inactive, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2The Pirate Bay isn't hosting this torrent, but if they were, this is how they would do it.
- gl77, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2you mean Fred Goldman? OJ killed Ron.
- inactive, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2Nope, it's done and over.
New evidence or not, you cannot be tried for the same crime twice ever. -
