- darneveryone, on 07/25/2008, -5/+261I always like to see The Pirate Bay stick it to the man.
Really though, who wants to watch a grainy cam capture of The Dark Knight on their computer? It's worth going to the movies for. - popnwave, on 07/25/2008, -4/+156If this was an R5 or Screener I'd be excited, but a cam? YUCK
- alecsputnik, on 07/25/2008, -2/+91i can't stand watching cams. this movie is worth the ten bucks to see in a theater anyway!
- Evilblobs, on 07/25/2008, -2/+85"Just some stats... ... here are some reasons why TPB is down sometimes - and how long it usually takes to fix:
Tiamo gets *very* drunk and then something crashes: 4 days
Anakata gets a really bad cold and noone is around: 7 days
The US and Swedish gov. forces the police to steal our servers: 3 days"
Never ceasing to ***** with the RIAA/MPAA, and never losing their sense of humor. - stevenk87, on 07/26/2008, -6/+56If you watch TDK on a cam, I just feel sorry for you.
- apextek, on 07/26/2008, -5/+47Dark Knight is the Only movie Ive watched in theatres in 18 months. I watched it on the principle that if hollywood puts there money into a quality picture they diserve to make money on it. I love grabing flicks off the net but if hollywood starts to make there best returns on the highest "quality" flicks they make. Perhaps they will put more into good movies instead of garbage flicks.
On another note, that movie can't truly be enjoyed as a cam, even a great quality copy cant compare to that movie in theaters. - bweltondav, on 07/26/2008, -3/+41My thoughts exactly. It takes so much away from the movie--this one in particular--to watch it like that.
- BlueSkyfish, on 07/26/2008, -2/+36Or at least waiting for a dvdrip
- norman619, on 07/26/2008, -4/+30People who watch the ***** cam pirate videos tend to be the ones who wouldn't pay to see a movie so there really isn't anything lost.
- ivand67, on 07/26/2008, -2/+25weeks? wtf are you talking about... how big is this release, 100 gigabytes??
- vardhaman2249, on 07/26/2008, -2/+22moreover,...the whole movie has a kinda dark tone to it cinematographycally speaking,...
it would really suck to watch it on a cam rip,.. - N01SE, on 07/26/2008, -1/+21Would rather see it in IMAX
- sarixe, on 07/26/2008, -2/+19or a dvdscr
- specialK16, on 07/26/2008, -6/+22Ahhh, I went to a "VIP" theater, with these leather sofa's that where more comfortable than my own bed, and waiters willing to get from nachos to sushi and beer to whiskey for you.
Though it was pricey, that movie was worth every penny. - bagelmaster, on 07/26/2008, -3/+19Cheap is a relative term.
- paulvq, on 07/26/2008, -1/+15Do you realize that film has a far higher resolution than 4k? Dark Knight didn't even go through a digital intermediate, so the picture quality was even better than most Hollywood productions.

Sorry, couldn't resist. - godofallcows, on 07/26/2008, -4/+17I'm watching that version right now. Its in two parts and it is the best telesync copy i have ever seen. I mean I'm ...not watching it.
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -8/+21i used to be ghetto and watch the cams, but i'm so glad i saw dark knight on the big screen, though the nacho cheese sauce platter was a bit pricey
- DCstewieG, on 07/26/2008, -0/+12Seriously, look at this. Just imagine blowing it up to a decent size.

I would bet most people are downloading this for the thrill or just because and have already seen it. They could probably give this away and get more people to actually pay for the real thing. I'd say that maybe this is the case but come on, this is the MPAA we're talking about. - umbrellainabin, on 07/26/2008, -7/+19***** THE RIAA <

- ayeroxor, on 07/26/2008, -2/+13Some country where they use apostrophes to pluralize. I'm guessing the Republic of Tennessee.
- theman8631, on 07/26/2008, -3/+14Why so serious?
- apophenic, on 07/26/2008, -2/+12Actually a lot better than I expected.
- BlueSkyfish, on 07/26/2008, -1/+11Learn about port forwarding. On a normal 2mb/s DSL connection, I get over 200 kilobyte/second speeds on torrents with high number of seeders. A 700mb movie can be downloaded in under an hour. Currently, the version with the most seeds is 1.41gb, which would take about 2 hours to complete.
- shadovvman, on 07/26/2008, -1/+11"We only say "***** the MPAA" who charge us money for ***** movies."
... That literally makes no sense. Saying you shouldn't have to pay for consuming a product you adjudge inferior is like claiming McDonald's entire value menu should be free to you because you only like the premium chicken sandwich.
Talk about sense of entitlement. - seraph582, on 07/26/2008, -2/+12You "diserve" to go back to the third grade.
- saturninus, on 07/26/2008, -0/+9My favorite part was when people started walking up and down the aisles. It totally added to the drama!
- dhVyse, on 07/26/2008, -1/+10Definitely. Or just wait for the DVD rip.
- Tyrghast, on 07/26/2008, -3/+12I pirated Iron Man before seeing it in theaters. Id love to be able to rely on trailers before I put my money toward a movie, but lately the only good parts of a movie are in the trailers. Fortunately for Iron Man and TDK, they were worth paying for.
- xShifty, on 07/26/2008, -0/+9100 gigabyte TDK? I want that.
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -2/+11Wow aren't you special! Stealing is only okay in your eyes if the product is unworthy in your opinion. What a great, solid set of morals you have.
- Xondar, on 07/26/2008, -5/+14I urge everyone to download this movie from bit torrent. Why? Because if it has record bit torrent views and it made record profits in theatres, then the MPAA is full of ***** and "piracy" does not affect their bottom dollar.
- h4mx0r, on 07/26/2008, -6/+14People still watch cam rips? I thought that was back in the day when people were still unfamiliar with p2p and what was good or not.
- iCoty, on 07/26/2008, -2/+10I love the pirate bay but spend the 10 bucks to see The Dark Knight in the theaters. You won't be disappointed!
- SubjectiveC, on 07/25/2008, -16/+24I don't understand why people would want to wait weeks for the thing to seed properly and finally watch a blurry copy with improper colors and awful sound when they can watch it in the theaters cheap and have a hell of a time. The sound in this kind of film is cranked up, so even if your fellow audience members are *****, you still don't have to listen to them.
- freezerburn666, on 07/26/2008, -5/+12thats me!
- Jenadae, on 07/26/2008, -2/+9The telesync was done by a guy named stuffies, hes a master of making ***** look like gold.
- MOJIRA, on 07/26/2008, -0/+7I don't think anyone saw this movie on CAM before they saw it two or three times in the theater or IMAX.
- messiahcoon, on 07/26/2008, -1/+7I've never heard of such a theater...where was this?
- becknell, on 07/26/2008, -0/+6No choice, in Iraq. I can pretend the crunching noise is me enjoying some tasty movie snacks though.
- freezerburn666, on 07/26/2008, -1/+7maybe, except everyone likes batman, and also, its not REAL
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -0/+6If you don't like it, why the ***** are you pirating it then? If it sucks, ignore it. If it's good, go pay money and see it. It's not that difficult.
- Ymeg, on 07/26/2008, -2/+7TPB is an unquestionable father figure here on digg.
- craighoxton, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5This movie is F*CKING AWESOME! I believe in Christopher Nolan, so I paid my £10 to watch it in a movie theatre.
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5Wow, stealing movies from Blockbuster. And bragging about it on the internet, no less. You're so cool.
- tech42er, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5Absolutely. This is a movie best seen in IMAX, a cam doesn't do it justice.
- LemonChicken, on 07/26/2008, -3/+8You call that sorry-ass torrent a leak?
- bagboyrebel, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5The Joker was insane, I don't think a single one of his scar stories were actually true.
