- spydon, on 05/19/2008, -5/+165And the anti-pirates still don't understand that they are the ones that makes TPB more popular...
They will never be able to take them down, so I say they should keep helping them! ;) - kevman459, on 05/19/2008, -2/+129"Of all BitTorrent sites, Mininova is currently in the lead, ranked 52th according to Alexa’s new and improved statistics. "
Fifty-tooth?? - inactive, on 05/19/2008, -8/+89Now lets see some better music selection on there
- Duncster, on 05/19/2008, -3/+81DO WHAT YOU WANT BECAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE, YOU ARE A PIRATE!
- Ainsleh, on 05/19/2008, -12/+78Not that Alexa is the most accurate of measurements.
A great achievement nevertheless.
Keep it up TPB. - montiff, on 05/19/2008, -7/+63I used Pirate Bay for the first time last night. So obviously I put it over the top. Your welcome Pirate Bay.

- int19h, on 05/19/2008, -1/+26This is great. I'm not really pro-piracy, but I'm 100% anti-anti-piracy.
- LatencyRemix, on 05/19/2008, -4/+28I don't know why people are digging you down.
As a web developer, every time I see Alexa used as a reliable source for web statistics, I die a little. - inactive, on 05/19/2008, -4/+27So, which **AA do you work for?
- Ryan166, on 05/19/2008, -3/+25a little, but clearly not enough.
- hinmanj, on 05/19/2008, -1/+23Yet Mininova is #52... But I'm a piratebay fan =[

- whatthehell9, on 05/19/2008, -7/+25ARRRggg!!!
- kylere, on 05/19/2008, -1/+18Do any of you really think Alexa is worth anything? Have any of you paid attention to their process? They are about as relevant to website visits as Nielson is to television ratings.
- saxreturns, on 05/19/2008, -1/+17There are loads of other torrent sites that specialise in music... try one of those. The Pirate Bay is really more of a general purpose site.
- saxreturns, on 05/19/2008, -1/+17I can't help but wonder what you're doing here in the first place...
- Sliver85, on 05/19/2008, -0/+15You're doing it wrong
- RMoore08, on 05/19/2008, -0/+15YAR HAR FIDDLE DEE DEE. BEING A PIRATE IS ALRIGHT TO BE!

- saxreturns, on 05/19/2008, -0/+13I don't know. Do you support coercion, frivolous lawsuits that ruin lives, intimidation and a failing business model that has no place in the 21st century?
- Dumbledorito, on 05/19/2008, -8/+21Not to mention that Alexa lists Yahoo as the #1 visited site globally with Google second. Yeah, that sounds right.

- dsmx, on 05/19/2008, -2/+12Piracy is a convenient excuse used by companies to justify falling sales. Piracy is mainly done by be people who are unwilling/unable to purchase the legitimate product.
Any company that wants to reduce piracy of their product should look at the reasons why people pirate the product in the first place.
Reasons generally are it's to expensive, restrictive DRM on the legitimate product, the product is unavailable in the area they live and they want to see if the product is actually worth paying money for. All of these reason are the fault of the company not the consumer, the easy way out is to blame pirates for everything.
But the most important fact to remember is that people who pirate something will never of paid for the legitimate product and if they couldn't of pirated it they would of not got it in the first place.
So I ask you this simple question and using a little logic you should be able to figure out the answer:
How much money has the company lost if there product is pirated bearing in mind what I said above? - AsSubtleAsABrik, on 05/19/2008, -1/+10Yea except I can't sign up for them without an invite. None of my friends have an account and asking for one on forums or other online places seems like quite the faux pas. So I'm ***** out of luck.
- Ocelot13, on 05/19/2008, -2/+11its like a huge store for music, movies, and programs.
