- noblestrife, on 08/04/2008, -0/+1Excellent article, but a little too extreme. The concept of "lifestreaming" is still something of a novelty. Twitter is definitely a fad (although it's gaining momentum).
I am a little concerned that (according to the article) the 'future of blogging' is headed towards ADD-style slice-of-life, up-to-the-minute gossip, yellow journalism.
I don't think so. - JayCruz, on 08/05/2008, -0/+2I think the title should have been, "The Future of "Personal" Blogging Revealed.
- jkleske, on 08/05/2008, -0/+0Full agree. I don't think lifestreaming will replace thoughtful blog articles. But it will be the big thing to replace personal blogs. Here's to automation.
- gjesdal, on 08/05/2008, -0/+0Interesting article on blogging. In 2 years, if this trend continues, blogging will be old fashioned. I agree with JayCruz - personal blogging will shift into lifestreaming :)
- alchemus, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1I think that that a creative combination of both "blogging" and "lifestreaming" would be the way to go. It's informative, entertaining and could lead to interactivity. That would end up sparking more "comments", "discussions" and propel the blog/lifestream onward.
- ChrisFizik, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0seen all these things before, it's not fresh news, but it is a well laid out article, so props. Julia Allison, heh.
- MrsUniverse, on 08/08/2008, -0/+0muhahahaha bloggers beware! The little bird is mutating and twisting to cater to the tweny bob A.D.D. generation. Ay, I still love reading :)
