The Direction that Zune is Taking Microsoft

pulse2.com — There have been a few instances in which Microsoft used its buying and development power to bring the company to a market in which it has not been before. Many people have criticized the Zune as not being replaceable to the iPod and believes it will flop. My instinct was to believe that the Zune is one of the best products released by Microsoft.

    It's clear that you love the product. If that's the case, what has your experience of owning one been?

    Might I make a humble recommendation?

    Write a review and submit it to Digg.

    It's clear from your posts that you own a Zune, and thus know its positives. Otherwise, you'd just be a mindless fanboy ranting and raving without any actual experience to use as a basis of comparison.

    Writing what you consider a more accurate review of the Zune would do far more to counterbalance the negative press it's getting than a thousand comments posted on digg.

    Write a review Flag. Whatever you say about the Zune, I guarantee that if you post an actual review, I'll digg it, if for no other reason than to show respect for you standing up for what you clearly feel very strongly about.

    Stop complaining about the reviews other people write, and write one of your own.

    It's funny you talk about "actual experience to use as a basis of comparison" considering 99% of the bad comments the Zune is getting are coming from ipod owners who have never actually used a zune. Just about every positive comment I've seen about the Zune has come from people who have one. Go figure, the people who aren't biased and have actual experience with the device like it, and those who've never even touched one bash it with such confidence and not to meantion, ignorance.

    I have owned three ipods and a Zune, and personally favor the Zune for reasons I won't get in to given I've already tried and it seems nothing will break through the thick and rock solid heads of ipod fanboys.
