The Digg Website's Problem

    1) After the big uproar when they rewrote it, one thing they changed was that you're now supposed to still see the replies after burying a comment. Sure, when I first click it, the parent comment collapses and the replies are still visible...but when I leave the page and come back, all the replies are hidden. Personally, I'd still like them to show up. (especially in situations where I've buried a comment and am actively discussing whatever argument I had with the poster).

    2) When fetching replies via AJAX, line breaks aren't converted to HTML like they are with all the prefetched ones when the page first loads. So comments with multiple paragraphs get scrunched into a single line.
