Toyota pulled the ad because it was getting negative press coverage. Our constitution actually is pretty clear about what speech is banned and what isnt. This was fully allowed speech.

But really, they didn't say that it was a ghost town, they just said it was a low budget tourist stop, akin to a ghost town. Anyway, I thought it was a light-hearted jab that added humor to the commercial. Fresno shouldn't take themselves too seriously, everyone already knows it's a strange town filled with crazy people.

We're on the way to a lot of tourist spots but Fresno is not the destination. but we grow 90% of the fruits and nuts in the US so be nice or we won't send you any and you'll get scurvy.
