- grantmiller, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21I thought this listed list was tarded when I saw that Digg is a runner up to Netscape...WTF? Seriously, these people believe that? Then I read more and came across this comment, "MySpace offers some of the best user experience as well." Who are they kidding? And will someone include http://www.sparkpeople.com and www.plentyoffish.com in a list of community focused sites once, just once.
- technophobe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9beware the popups.
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I'm sorry, anything that calls MySpace "Web 2.0" or even a well done site is drinking embalming fluid
and Netscape as the best source for social news? Come on! - stan205, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Reported as inaccurate. Netscape beats Digg, yeah right!?!?
- Ninjab3ar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6WTF?
Edit: Wow, talk about blog spam - llbbl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Bury this so it doesnt hit frontpage. The author doesn't know what he is talking about.
- Farik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5As a runner-up to Netscape for Peer Production News?
- shark615, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Buried because the site is horrible and covered in advertisements and auto playing movies.
I couldn't even get to the article. - NuPagady, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Digg was not mentioned? Or maybe that huge popup ad that takes 50% of my screen covered it?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I wonder how much the author was payed for this "article"
- thepharmacist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Auto-playing ad with sound on by default = no digg.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Annoying ***** ads. BURIED.
- triplexpac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3So we're just digging anything with Web 2.0 in the title now? I must have missed that memo.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Did Google make an announcement saying it's time for 2.0? All of these things considered to be Web 2.0 are things Google has conquered years ago. I think the general population is a bit behind here.
I'm sorry, MySpace is not "2.0" - Andrej73, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Where is Obama?
sorry, where is digg?
;) - spargo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2MySpace beats Facebook and Netscape beats Digg. Buried as inaccurate. Also, "Literally hundreds of Web sites and applications were launched this year." You are correct. Only a couple hundred new websites came up this past year...
- mrkredo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ok, this is lame. BURIED!
- spargo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2And we're going to need you to put the new cover sheet on all your Diggs now. That'd be grrrreeeaattt.
- bbelau, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ok, first, as if there aren't enough stupid lists of everybody's favorite "Web 2.0" sites, most of which hardly make the grade, in my book!
Second, MySpace? wtf-ever! A web 2.0 site that runs slower and is buggier than any other site on the Net should hardly be classified as being more innovative than the likes of Digg.
Third, this fvcktard should be dragged out & shot for that ANNOYING AD! Rightfully BURIED! - error792, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Buried for popups, sound, the author is an idiot (Netscape above digg?!?! WTF?!?!?!) and for rating MySpace #1 in a category other than "Best Web Site to Visit if You Want To Make Your Eyes And Ears Bleed".
- applebyte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1very annoying (loud) video ad. buried as spam.
- Weaselboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Agreed... can't even get to the article for all the popups (with popup blocker on). Buried.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2POF isn't really a web 2.0 site....last time i was on there it would hardly qualify for 1.0 :)
- anthonylitz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Spam......even with Adblock on!
