- gallardo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7The art of gaming digg...
... Or I guess they encourage that now. ::shurgs:: - gallardo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7All you need is the embeded digg button on your site (like this guy). Then you have 30 loyal readers digg everything you post. Front page! Voila! The people probably don't digg for upcoming stories, so it's pretty skewed.
Everything this clown posts makes front page. Stupid digg buttons. That should never have been allowed. - interiot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Haha, he's got Digg nailed:
One of the best ways to get a link from another site to write about them. Site owners like to have their ego’s stroked just like normal people. If you write something nice about another site, chances are they will link to what you wrote. It’s interesting to note that some of my biggest Diggs were done to articles written about Digg. Diggers love to reads about themselves for some reason. They see an article on Digg and they’re like “Oh wow! It’s an article on Digg! I HAVE to Digg that!” You get bonus point if you mention Kevin Rose. - milarepa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3buried for being pointless
- shosterman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Hey, you mentioned Kevin Rose
+digg! - PDelahanty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I'm not falling for this blatantly obvious baiting. Also buried.
- Sp0rAdiC, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4He's pretty good at it, you gotta give him that.
- SteveMax, on 10/12/2007, -1/+261 diggers took the bait. Buried for the obvious spam, but the guy is good.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Ggetting excited about link baiting, I am!
- teknotant, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Diggers usually do not bit the bait if it is not worth a damn.
- NTolerance, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1When I think of "link baiting" I think of goatse.
- markus941, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Does every single post from this guy make it to the front page?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I wouldn't call it an art.
