- virtualonliner, on 09/02/2008, -4/+163On principle, I refuse to see anything that spreads over 20 webpages.
- BigPapi, on 09/02/2008, -0/+152Glam Media? WTF is that?
- inactive, on 09/01/2008, -1/+141I'm surprised no porn websites made the list...
Average Time Per Visit: 0:02:30 - DeFex, on 09/02/2008, -0/+127real networks? why would anyone...
just die already. - serif69, on 09/02/2008, -0/+117It's still on there because a million Real Players from 1998 are still buffering.
- gamben0, on 09/02/2008, -1/+96I find it extremely hard to believe more people are looking at AOL media instead of Youtube.
- carolinaws, on 09/02/2008, -0/+94Thank you. All Forbes slideshows should be banned from Digg.
- danjwray, on 09/02/2008, -1/+69Who is going to aol.com? Declare yourselves.
- theandy1, on 09/02/2008, -0/+50Wow, I can't believe AOL is #5. MSN is no real surprise at three considering IE sets it as a homepage and a lot of people don't even change it. I didn't even know a site called Glam Media existed. I also discovered that my average time on websites is much shorter than other people's.
- inactive, on 09/02/2008, -0/+48Real Network???? Are you kidding me??? I can't believe anyone goes there now!

- RayFinkle, on 09/02/2008, -0/+45Forbes.com this is Usability, I dont think you guys have met.
- ju66l3r, on 09/02/2008, -0/+37No kidding. The biggest problem is that it sets up false comparisons. There's absolutely no correlation or causation to why Real Network and Dell are at #19. The only thing they have in common is that 18 other sites were visited more than them in their respective years.
This should have been a "movers/shakers" ranking list like a college football poll or MLB power list.
Site: 2008 Rank 2005 Rank Difference
Google.com #1 #4 +3
Yahoo.com #2 #1 -1
etc. - lordrahl, on 09/02/2008, -0/+34ON 20 ***** pages.... god. -1 for slideshows
- Visual77, on 09/02/2008, -4/+37Buried for being a slideshow. There is no reason to set it up like this other than to get increased ad revenue from constant page refreshes. Give me more relevant ads as content, rather than artificially forcing me to view ads more often.
- PraveenReddy, on 09/02/2008, -0/+32***** Forbes.com. The worst thing to happen for Internet. Dugg down for the awful presentation of the content.
- biogears, on 09/02/2008, -7/+38Dug for non-Palin post, UnDug for tricking me into looking at 5 pages of ads.
- jonathandyer, on 09/02/2008, -0/+30Damn, you're a trooper, I can hardly get past the login screen.

- DeFex, on 09/02/2008, -1/+28People are looking for a computer thats easy to use. they aren't very good at it.
- alpinecow, on 09/02/2008, -0/+25It's another kind of porn
- gzappia, on 09/02/2008, -1/+26buried because of those god forsaken slideshows.. please make it stop
- username7410, on 09/02/2008, -0/+23Forbes is the ***** website ever. ***** your slide shows Forbes. *****. Your. Slideshows.
- notjasonlee, on 09/02/2008, -3/+24this sort of comment always makes me suspicious. sarcasm? spammer? fag?
- 9bpm9, on 09/02/2008, -0/+19I hate Forbes articles.
- homercles337, on 09/02/2008, -0/+19I think their numbers were cooked or something. Most of those just seem wrong. Real Networks?
Also, i ***** hate those "auto play" slide shows. Simply the stupidest thing ever. - ju66l3r, on 09/02/2008, -1/+19The two sites are completely unrelated. The fact that they're both at 15 in two separate years is meaningless.
- GhandicapXRS, on 09/02/2008, -0/+18Hardly a "Then and Now", this is just 3 years difference. It would've been way more interesting to see 2008 vs 1998. WITHOUT the ***** Forbes slideshow thingy.
- Bizarrkley, on 09/02/2008, -0/+17If I could only Digg you a few thousand more times!
- dion3537, on 09/02/2008, -0/+16I'm sure there are some at the top, but they chose to ignore them.
- darkchild82, on 09/01/2008, -2/+18Google? Porn. Lot's of it.
Apple? Don't ask. - jonathandyer, on 09/02/2008, -1/+17I have my first tab in FF just sitting on iGoogle, that probably counts.
- springboks, on 09/02/2008, -0/+16Oh bless. I was hoping they'd be a typed up summary. Cheers
- DrDigg, on 09/02/2008, -0/+15I thought I was the only one who had never heard of that.
Looks like it is a collection of womens blogs. Maybe they include weblogs inc in the aol stuff. - onoitzphil, on 09/02/2008, -0/+15dugg for the real reason for the internet
- GravyTrain6, on 09/02/2008, -0/+14I didn't even know aol.com still existed....
and how does Real network make it on this list in 2008? - waveman216, on 09/02/2008, -0/+14Apple has movie trailers.
- rootsm3, on 09/02/2008, -0/+13The slideshow...nope not today.
And that wasn't even remotely interesting to begin with. - nakp88d, on 09/02/2008, -0/+13If Forbes doesn't fix the way their slideshows work they are going to disappear from the web too.
- NJank, on 09/02/2008, -8/+21And, in more readable format:

- theRealNyee, on 09/02/2008, -0/+9Thank god Myspace isn't on the 2008 list.. that site gives my computer STD's.
- abbathdoom, on 09/02/2008, -1/+10Bury the ***** slideshow
- WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -0/+8My grampa. He's in his 70s and loves Minesweeper and solitaire. Aside from the AOL thing, he's a great guy.
