- cbeach, on 05/30/2008, -1/+31Where's the frickin' list?! Cannot be bothered to read this article. BURIED.

How the hell can you make a top 100 list without numbers, the product bolded, and an individual paragraph for each product? I mean, it's hard tell where one product ends and the next one begins. I think something went wrong when this was translated over. Some of them don't even have the actual product they are talking about.
Like this for example:
"Here's the first router that serves both older 2.4-GHz 802.11b/g gear and newer devices that stream over the 5-GHz band.Review|Check prices" - zackisaiah, on 05/30/2008, -0/+22The complete list, in ranked order: http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,146161-page,12-c ...
- gettophilosophr, on 05/30/2008, -0/+17They just copied the plain text from PCWorld.com, it seems. Here's the real list.

http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,146161-page,12-c ... - Photog, on 05/30/2008, -0/+10Who does a "Best Products Of The Year" list in MAY???
- mmockett, on 05/30/2008, -0/+9This looks like it has been ripped off of another, more coherent site, with its formatting left by the wayside. Is there an original list that isn't a tarted up .txt file?
- gamersedge, on 05/30/2008, -0/+6Fail. EPIC Fail.
- inactive, on 05/30/2008, -0/+4For ***** sake keep the Serif fonts for print and sans for the screen
- rootsm3, on 05/30/2008, -0/+3that was a headache to try reading...
- roflbrothel, on 05/30/2008, -0/+3Thank you.
- Maxxpowers, on 05/30/2008, -0/+3Wow, the layout of this article is terrible.
- frepont, on 05/30/2008, -0/+3The top 1 worst formatted and questionably relevant lists of the year:
1 - "The 100 Best Products of the Year " - WaPo. - SiliconRain, on 05/30/2008, -1/+3No need to worry. Here is all you need to know:
1 - Hulu
92 - Digg.com - kraetos, on 05/30/2008, -0/+2Hulu? Really?
- jezsik, on 05/30/2008, -0/+2Brilliant! I came back to Digg to paste THAT very paragraph as proof that this article is buryworthy.
- roflbrothel, on 05/30/2008, -1/+3Buried for use of internet exploder.
He's right through, ***** article is *****. I buried that too. - p0tent1al, on 05/31/2008, -0/+2Windows XP? Really?
- DalamarArgent, on 05/30/2008, -0/+2Step 1 of making a list of 100 things - Make it a f*cking list.
Step 2 of making a list of 100 things - Put it on 1 page.
Yes, I get it that these dicks have pay per view ads, but not a single person wants to click per page through a list of whatever they are writing, hell I don't even want to click by the tens or hundreds, JUST PUT IT ON ONE PAGE. - athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -0/+1thats great, but to say the iphone is a "flop" would be a severe understatement.
I've had a 3G phone for 3 years, it's definitely the standard in the US, I don't know what you have been told. The only reason the iphone gets away with not having it is all the other functions it comes with. This will soon change in June. - nirvaorg, on 05/31/2008, -0/+1burried for pc magazine :) hate their ads
- JesseJ, on 06/02/2008, -0/+1It starts with Hulu at #1. It can only be viewed in the USA. How can something like that be at #1. What a totally crap article!
- pinchduck, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1I think it is possible that something cool may be released within the next 7 months. It isn't even June yet!
- lunabee, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1BURRIED! I don't have the patience to read 5 pages of text. I want lists damnit!
- geffo, on 06/02/2008, -0/+1agreed, v2 should have been v1.
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -0/+1riiiiight, have you been living under a rock for the last year.
i hope you are being sarcastic. - macaddct1984, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1This is a stupid stupid list. It's not even "Products of 2008"
Windows XP, Gmail, Facebook, Craigslist, iChat, etc... they're all older than dirt. - nobodez, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1Who knew that the Washington Post would have the equivalent of Blog Spam? I mean, really, they couldn't even be nice enough to re-post the story with actual formatting, they just did some copy pasta and posted it. So much for big media.
- geffo, on 05/31/2008, -0/+1http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/07/nokias-1100-han ...
the above is what i would call a non 3G success with no hype needed.
yes i am mocking just a little, BUT i forget 3G is a novelty in the US, elsewhere it is considered standard. - iocchelli, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1How does Windows XP get on this list at all?
- antdude, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1Ugly print copy: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/artic ...
- Spartyon, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1whoever submitted this obviously has little to no knowledge of the digg community and its inability to actually read things
in saying that, yeah i didn't read it either. - bonjourmr, on 05/30/2008, -0/+113. Apple iPod Touch
Are you ***** kidding me? - saturnx8, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1shouldn't best of year be held at the EOY? oh wait, I get it financial year, how stupid all the world is commercial calendar based using military jargon so they can sound cool. But some of those products are pretty good.
- mydave, on 08/12/2008, -0/+0good list.

http://www.rhondawalkerfoundation.org
http://pmidsig.org/08_2003.shtml - pEEpiNgtoM, on 05/30/2008, -0/+0There was a list in that?
- ostracize, on 05/30/2008, -1/+1Printable:
http://www.pcworld.com/printable/article/id,146161 ... - iloveSF, on 05/30/2008, -0/+0Unfortunately, the Washington Post version of this somehow lost formatting: The version on pcworld.com has
1) Ranked list on a single page:http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,146161-page,12-c ...
2) Alphabetical list on a single page: http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,146161-page,13-c ...
3) List by category on a single page: http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,146161-page,14-c ... - Grumby24, on 05/30/2008, -1/+1So's your mom.
- Chesbro, on 05/30/2008, -2/+1Scam! Digg is only #92! ....LOL!
- gettophilosophr, on 05/30/2008, -2/+1Bah, the new comments system doesn't like my computer. Or something like that... :-P
< edit>
I was surprised at how Apple-heavy the list was...iPhone, iPod Touch, Safari for iPhone, OS X, Apple Cinema Display, MacBook Pro, Final Cut Pro 2, Logic Studio, iChat, Apple TV, iMac, and MacBook Air, all in the same list.
I mean, I get that Apple has well-designed products, and I'm trying not to be a fanboy here, but it still seemed odd for a PC World article to list pretty much the entire Apple product line in their top 100 products of the year. - wassim2k, on 05/30/2008, -2/+11. No thanks, skip this ad and continue on...

- djMochi, on 05/30/2008, -2/+0what list?
- geffo, on 05/30/2008, -3/+1buried, iphone is a flop so far.
