- burtonbe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6It seems to me that deciding on whether to sell prints based on if "they looked like professional photographs" is pretty darn subjective. Maybe the Target officials who created this policy should visit Flickr to see all the wonderful photos captured by amateurs.
Ridiculous. - iFelix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The front page story was this one:

- subscriber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And yet Target would be happy to sell you an 8 megapixel Samsung Digimax "Pro" camera that they would probably tell you will take "professional looking" pictures ...
- ajwinder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I swore long ago to not go into target, but that was more due to the unleashed children of crack addicts that run around completely unsupervised, and you know, the general trash that would be expected from a place who's base audience is people who'll do anything to save a fraction of a dollar per item.
that said, im not sure what to think of the article as it would surprise me greatly if Kodak looks at every picture that goes through their end, and why some low-level bitch on a power trip would actually refuse to give them to her without having to jump through hoops. And my guess is that its more on Targets end because apple has been teamed up with kodak for a while now and i havent heard about any instances like that. - jeastbur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks like this has been happening for a while. Here is the original story from a year ago:

What's funny about this is that one of the photos they would'nt give to her, was a picture of her! - jeastbur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Do you have a link to the original post? I wasn't able to find it when I searched before posting.
