Symantec to acquire PC Tools
arstechnica.com — Symantec has announced plans to acquire PC Tools for an undisclosed amount. PC Tools is known for its Spyware Doctor and Registry Mechanic products, but also offers PC Tools AntiVirus, Privacy Guardian, File Recover, Spam Monitor, PC Tools Firewall Plus, ThreatFire, and PC Tools Internet Security.
