- say592, on 02/02/2008, -7/+151This has gotten RIDICULOUS!
This is complete slander on TPB. Not to mention, its teaching these children that P2P protocols are bad, which is not true at all!
If anything, P2P is one of the GREATEST things to hit the internet since the JPG!
Without P2P, there would be NO way for content to be delivered this fast without a huge toll on providers.
I dont know why TPB stands back and takes it. They need to start fighting for THEIR rights. - Lkr721993, on 02/02/2008, -6/+130trying to brainwash kids I see
- wiredDeath, on 02/02/2008, -2/+101The main lesson gained from this article: “If you are under 15, you cannot go to jail or be fined if you download".
- spydon, on 02/02/2008, -8/+93Sweden is going insane! Brainwashing their kids in early ages...
- mark076h, on 02/02/2008, -3/+51LONG LIVE THE PIRATE BAY!!!!! AAARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- OropheR, on 02/02/2008, -0/+47"iPod classic lets you carry everything in your collection — up to 40,000 songs"... imagine buying 40.000 songs.
- gtapro92, on 02/02/2008, -2/+37swedish girls are so hot
- HCviolence, on 02/02/2008, -0/+31Why don't you have a seat over there.
- DiggityDugged, on 02/02/2008, -7/+35it's surprising the leaders of thepiratebay havent sued anyone for spreading their personal information on the web
- Ubergoober3, on 02/02/2008, -7/+35Maybe if there weren't so many restrictions on the songs and movies you do pay for then people wouldn't download the free stuff with no restrictions. I'm looking at you apple.
- greywolfexcel, on 02/02/2008, -2/+25At least we won't be having lots of 12 year olds spamming the comments with idiotic messages.
- evernerve, on 02/02/2008, -5/+28Leave the kids alone.
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -0/+20Dude, shes like 12!
- altinnovation, on 02/02/2008, -1/+20But quickly enough so that we can watch it all in one youtube video.
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -4/+21They're kinda busy right now, what with the lawsuit and all. I think the duty of defending P2P should rest with P2Pers, not TPB. TPB already have enough on their plate as it is, they're facing possibly 2 years in jail for a cause that benefits all of us. I think the least we can do is step up and defend P2P.
- rstarr, on 02/02/2008, -2/+18Are they stupid? What do they think will happen if we can't pirate? Do you REALLY think someone will pay to fill even 30gigs of music? It would cost waaaay more than the player! I know if I couldn't pirate I would have never picked up an iPod. I have near 2500 songs at 13 gigs, that's $2500 by itunes pricing. I know movies take a lot more, but that's still sort of new.
- picpak, on 02/02/2008, -0/+15Clearly, the solution is to lower song prices to one cent.
I have 4374 songs. Currently that'd be about $4374 on iTunes.
But at a cent? $43.74...can't argue with that now, can we? - bagelmaster, on 02/02/2008, -0/+13Ok then. She's cute right now.. but in 6 years she's gonna be hot.
- airwalkery2k, on 02/02/2008, -0/+12So, does that mean you shop for music at Amazon's DRM-free store or eMusic which has been DRM-free for years?
I agree, but I really hope you are putting your money where your mouth is. - MrKrinkleDude, on 02/02/2008, -1/+13“How many of you have downloaded something off the Internet?”
The answer would be 100% Bob. I just "downloaded something" by pointing my web browser to the link to read the article. - andycr512, on 02/02/2008, -6/+18"Brainwashing.... not to upset you, but everyone acknowledges that piracy is wrong."
Not everyone does. I do -not- acknowledge that, nor do I believe it. I have heard no convincing argument as to why something more infinite than air should be treated as property, to the extent of prosecuting those who refuse to go along with the illusion. - inactive, on 02/02/2008, -0/+11Pedobear stamp of approval.
- slamm71, on 02/03/2008, -0/+10Why don't you have a seat over there...
- rockrapdude, on 02/02/2008, -1/+11I believe that they aren't, what you would call, scientology minded.
- screwfanboys1, on 02/02/2008, -1/+11no, may death come slowly and painfully to their enemies.
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -0/+10Are they between the ages of 8 and 14?
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -4/+14I blame the ninjas, subversively trying to brainwash the little Swedish pirates at an early age.
- gooovil, on 02/02/2008, -3/+13***** YOU!!!!! If schools are not able to provide proper knowledge to our kids, consider educating them critical thinkings ourselves. Massive brainwashing is the biggest threat to humanity...
- rjwisniewski, on 02/02/2008, -3/+12The last thing we need is a bunch of kids who grow up thinking that the MPAA and RIAA are doing the right thing by charging outrageous rates on music whether it be in physical or digital format. P2P is a means to make consumer voices heard through an amazing development in technology.
- BlueSkyfish, on 02/02/2008, -0/+9Or to make a new system that gives 100% of the revenue to artists, and not the greedy middleman RIAA. (the artist and manager would be responsible for buying recording time at a studio, marketing, etc)
- cnot3, on 02/02/2008, -2/+10May death come swiftly to their enemies.
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -0/+8you are lame
- BassMastr, on 02/02/2008, -5/+13"The last thing we needs is a bunch of kids that feel they are entitled to everything."
Too late. - BlueSkyfish, on 02/02/2008, -0/+8I assume you never had health class in an American public school.
- RaDeus, on 02/02/2008, -0/+8noticed that too... you don't even have to open a browser to download something of the web...
first when you connect then packets come and go all the time... - arcticblue, on 02/03/2008, -1/+9Because that's the only way you're ever going to have sex.
- Ymeg, on 02/02/2008, -2/+9I want my work to be spread through out the world. I want to be known. I want to get paid.
- doshindude, on 02/03/2008, -0/+6so less than 10 minutes? and less than 100MB?
- Agger, on 02/02/2008, -0/+6hey! no lying on the internets!
- Remmy, on 02/02/2008, -2/+8And what these companies are doing isn't wrong? I'm not condoning piracy, but I am condemning corporations who exploit consumers by suing them for hundreds of thousands of dollars without substantiated evidence of the damages incurred. Charging anything more than the price of the albums in question 'x' the number of downloads is insane. Piracy may be wrong, but they are just as guilty.
- DarkDx, on 02/03/2008, -0/+6I love how they are all blonde and very cute.
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -0/+6they just asked if you have downloaded anything, they didnt specify, what dumbasses.
- Meatgrinder, on 02/02/2008, -0/+6Think of it as a compatible hard drive.
- bosssmiley, on 02/02/2008, -0/+6DJs? Or just major music junkies?
- RAEP, on 02/02/2008, -1/+7It's almost like America's drug propaganda!
- inactive, on 02/02/2008, -1/+6She's 6!!!
...Wait, is that legal over there? - inactive, on 02/02/2008, -2/+7@BassMastr
In one sense, you're right. People should be rewarded for their work. But people aren't. If I buy a song on iTunes ($1), maybe 5 cents of that will go to the actual artist. The rest of it goes to Apple, whatever Record Label the artist is signed to, and the government. I wanna pay the artist, not a distributor who really isn't necessary (this is 2008, we have the Internet and BT, there is no excuse for not being able to readily distribute your content). - spargett, on 02/03/2008, -0/+5I wonder how pounds of plastic 3,000 CD's is?
- CJChesterson, on 02/02/2008, -0/+5The internet is a fun and magical place.
- adooga, on 02/02/2008, -0/+5Amazon's mp3s have no drm.
