- pacificdrums, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This looks really cool. The listing system looks sort of like a TV guide.
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yeah, it's a nice option for people without on-screen guides. It also shows you which shows are new at a glance. I think I just found a new way to plan out my TV schedual
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Great TV guide tool with live chats!
- searayman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3i love it!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Man check out the speed. This thing FLIES! It could use a touch of some graphics, but the functionaility is 100%
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I didn't realize at first that one can rate each show, as well as, each individual episode. That's pretty sweet
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1By the way everyone, the guys who run the site are very nice. I had a chat with them last night about what they want to do with the site, and it looks like they have some really good ideas with what they want to do on the site
- pattycrosson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Really neat. I like the info on the left on a split screen so you don't have to click back and forth for info on a show. That's a real improvement.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This is super slick. I love it because I travel throughout the US and I can find the time and station for 24 no matter what!! WOOHOO
- halani, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is sweet! You have to check it and experience how different it really is from other listings sites.
- searayman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the guys are very friendly they come and chat with u a lot and ask what your ideas are and such, and they have responded to all my emails.
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm sad this didn't get as much publicity as it should have. it's an awesome resource!
- nilclop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1From Site:
"WARNING! Site may be very slow, please bear with us and maybe check back tomorrow. We're currently experiencing heavy load due to digg.com!"
Looks pretty cool though.

This post has nothing to do with the quality of TV programming. It has to do with a website employing AJAX to list TV programs. Get over yourself. Oh... and stop watching QVC. Try some quality programming, such as available on TLC, Discovery, History Channel, and National Geographic. - tmanka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Evoke is now dead
- T8_um, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's nice... But REALLY needs a face lift.
Nice work though, thx - roadkillrampage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The folks over at TiVo should use this instead of what they are currently using for their online scheduling. It is similar but the "New" tags is what sets it apart.
- McGill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So everyone is aware we only went LIVE at DEMO 2006, which was two weeks ago. We are still in Beta. That being said, I can guarantee that this site is faster than any of the other similar site; however, we have been inundated by simultaneous hits, which only started occurring since yesterday. Although we obviously anticipated simultaneous hits, we are getting large amounts due to this posting and one on Ajaxian. We are taking corrective action, but it isn't instantaneous. With regards to Canada, I attended McGill University in Montreal, and the Plattsburg lineup was identical. I have several friends in Montreal who are using the site with the Plattsburg zipcode, with great success. Those cities near the border may want to try the closest US city zipcode, and they may be surprised that it is identical or close. We are looking into Canadian listings, but unfortunately this doesn't happen over night.
- mcpaige, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dosent work with my myTV.PVR I use TitanTV
- sensibledriver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty cool...is Tribune getting paid for their data pull? If I'm not mistaken, you gotta pay a hefty license fee to grab their feed...?
- popltree2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Okay, how many people looked at 24 as their first search?
+digg - Pestilence, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It doesn't tell which shows are being broadcast in HD.
- genetic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is so sweet!
- smcgrath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love the blog sidebar option, now I've got my Evoke Tv side bar showing my favorite show, and my digg sidebar showing my dugg stories. Very Cool nice Digg++
- Florian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very nice! I'd been using Yahoo TV but really like this nice clean presentation. And even though you're being "dugg" right now response time is very good!
- NinjAlt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I prefer TitanTV. It has a way better listout. Just make sure to turn off all the colors because there is alot going on if you keep it at defaults. If only it had favorite episode option and the ability to choose your own custom color scheme it would be the best thing ever.
- dknighton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@TheCheetah
Amen, dude. - gr0k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It will show which shows are in HDTV later today. :)
- maverick999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Here's a mirror: http://www.evoketv.com.nyud.net:8080/
- tomakun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anyone esle here use FreeGuide? It's kind of nice to have a seperate java app for listings.
- mddigger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great Resource!
Very Cool!
Very Useful!
Doubble Digg - Phragm3nt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Super Slick? I don't think so. What is it with you people and Ajax. It's a joke to implement and takes little knowledge to get going. As for the "gloss", what gloss, the fact that i have to wait seconds for the sidebar to load? Looks like poor performing code to me.
Having the web site is great.. it's functional and does what it's supposed to. But there is nothing special here on the Ajax topic.
no digg. - Dan_2gngCrew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks awesome, I have been using tv guide. I really like the interactive ratings and customized schedules. All around good!!!
Only complaint I have is that when I go to get a show description on the X-files it goes to a page for: The Exhibitionist Files. Which is some kind of adult movie. - sfgeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's dead Jim. Dugg to death it seems.
- CrashKC, on 08/25/2008, -0/+0Oh, this is so sweet. It beats Yahoo's listings and is a billion times better than the crusty piece of ***** Gemstar Guide+ software that shipped with my ATI All-in-Wonder.
- RandomWhim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, this is much better than tv.yahoo.com!
And thanks for the meevee.com link too duranracing - sproutworks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm gonna forward this to my girlfriend. She uses Yahoo TV listings all the time, and this beats the hell out of that.
- arostad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is great! Thanks!!!!
- itoldyouso, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0us only no digg
- nickvd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Show me one for canada, or find me a good source of listing data for canada and I'll be happy...
- iikoizy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Even the mirror has the digg effect... any other mirrors? Please?
- bacchus101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can only get to the page that says the site is going to be slow because of the traffic caused by digg.com.......
Maybe try again later. - babyphatman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0And once again Canada is left out in the cold.

"yahoo called, they want their tv listings back."
Digg called, they want their dumb ass comment of the month back. - Koolice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0very cool, dugg
- GForce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't have Cable, VDSL, or Satellite... Can I still get listings? I tried to do the browse, but it does not list broadcast. I'm checking out MeeVee & it appears to do what I want...
- Denjira, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dugg for concept, please add Canadian channels!
- grimfandango, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0super slick if you live in the US and have a zipcode ... could've said that in the title.
- Hoohoonick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0+digg because the title contains ajax or web2.0
