- wilf_brim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very nice digg. Now I can either get smart when I drive, or listen to Kevin and Alex get drunk and drop my IQ by 5 points per episode.
- rasler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Free? I pay taxes, all public universities should put them up.
- olorinpc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://productivity.strategy-blogs.com/2005/10/ use that if the story url doesnt work.
- mcewen98, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the Harvard Extension school has a distant education option, and they make the first couple of lectures available online as samples:
http://www.extension.harvard.edu/2005-06/courses/DistanceEd/courses/ - history1me, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's great.
- ultimathule, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Uh, forgive my ignorance, but how do I implementh the RSS feeds into iTunes?
- Raian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Most universities you can just walk in and sit in any lecture you'd like-- so I think it is great that they are willing to put lectures online... but it is probably up to the professor and many professors are very anal about people stealing from them, or listening in on them.
- ketsugi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wouldn't exactly call that a "long" list, but it's still a good resource. +digg
- jhaitas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can we get some Electrical Engineering podcasts please!!!

this HARVARD class doesn't just release one or two samples. they release a podcast on EVERY class taught, and it seems to be hosted right off the harvard.edu website. it's an introduction to computers and the internet...probably has a lot of information we all already know, but, hell, i'd like to hear what a harvard professor has to say about it.
time to play catch-up. five lectures, one video (pirates of silicon valley...hehehe), a workshop, and an exam review session worth of listening. is it time for mid-terms already? - bnoble, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0mcewen98:
Thanks for that. - diggnationdevon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is great, more schools should be doing this.
- mojaam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, with todays tech, every class can be podcasted. I have a Creative MuVo mp3 player that is capable of this. I did it a couple of time for some presentations but just too lazy. So yeh, I see this growing in the future.
My vision in the future: Students will be recording audio or even video with their cellphones, mp3 players, etc... then upload them to their blogs. - baltakatei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0In iTunes 6.0:
Click the menu: "Advanced"->"Subscribe to Podcast..."
Past in the *.xml link location for the podcast
Hit enter, and iTunes downloads the latest mp3 file available. You'll be able to see the previous podcasts available for download listed as well. - teacherG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ultima:

- thediggerguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0is there a way to download the podcast directly from the internet??

- olorinpc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0is it time for midterms? heh who knows already graduated
- Cryptecks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What a brilliant, if overdue, idea.
