- Otto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The funniest part is that after it's sold and the item is shipped, no doubt that it sent by being loaded onto an airplane. The irony is so thick that you could swim in it.
- Jack_Quenfis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Has anyone seen my red stapler?
- Powder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We need to set up the system that the Japanese have (I think it is a Japanese system?), where the items are confiscated and put together, then sent by way of vacuum tube to the plane. The items are then given back after the trip.
- bvaughn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How many nail clippers does it take to make 40 pounds and who whould want even one used nail clipper?
- Deviant_Tech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0At least there's a way I can get my zippo back. Plus, where else can you find 50 pounds of corkscrew bottle openers?
- Sazime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Office supplies.
- osrevad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think its better than thowing it away, like they used to do.
- Ross, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's alot of stuff...
- kwilliam71, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd like to know where the money goes.
- Pooavenger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0how the hell are people paying so much for all that junk. that's nuts.
- Funman1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There are different sellers?? Sounds like someone is trying to cash in on the NTSA keyword.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I second that. The 9/11 hijackers used box cutters so scissors could take down a plane. I'm not going to speculate what political orientation you are but I can guarantee that you are an idiot.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes! I can finally support my 300 pounds of steel scissors fetish!
How very strange... - brainspout, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd like to know where my fingernail clippers went. Security took them from me, like I was gonna' jack a plane with nail clippers. lol.
- Otto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I guarantee jeff94's an idiot.
There is irony, or there would be if you had the brain to think for more than a couple of seconds. If you're one of the many who have had one of these items taken away from you and then been told that you're not allowed to put it in checked baggage (not carry on bags), then perhaps you'd understand the irony of shipping crates of the stuff around in the belly of a plane. - xioner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0or maybe he is a libertarian...
this is strange - Progression, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I agree with kwilliam71. Where is all this cash going. If not to the NTSA ( like they really need the money). Then some security guard trying to make a little extra cash. I don't know, either way it doesn't sound right.
- jeff94, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I guarantee Otto's a liberal.
There's no irony. These things aren't remote controlled bombs, they're handheld sharp metal objects. If you think scissors can take down a plane by themselves, you've got some other illegal things to take care of first ;).
