Frankly, I was rabidly ANTI-Starbucks for a long time because they tried to come into my cute little non corporate village. But when I'm out in the big bad world I find independent coffee shops often make inconsistent, or consistently BAD lattes (cheap espresso, scalded milk...) and/or have surly or otherwise poor service. Now I'll get the best of all the worlds!
